Manaka Sajyou is the main antagonist of the unreleased original version of Fate/Stay Night called Fate/Prototype and the villainous protagonist of the prequel to Fate/Prototype, Fate/Prototype Fragments of Sky Silver
She is a magus who was born with a natural connection to the swirl of the root, therefore making her one of if not the most powerful magus to ever exist, while also leading to her being an incredibly apathetic person until she summoned the saber class servant Arthur Pendragon and fell in love with him.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Shows no care towards the atrocities she commits.
- Doesn't care about her sister Ayaka as shown when she says that Ayaka is useless outside of being a sacrificial ingredient to the grail.
- Is completely obsessed with Arthur.
- During her conversation with Arthur she mentions possibly using or killing the children of masters in the grail war.
- Implies she would be willing to kill one of her friends, who was still a child.
- Deceives and manipulates everyone in the grail war.
- Forces Elza to make Arash use his Noble Phantasm which would kill Arash.
- Paralyzes Rerioukan (albeit he was going to try to kill her with his servant).
- Activates the curse on Misaya, who was a child and supposedly Manaka's friend. This also leads to Misaya’s death in Prototype.
- Has Hassan of Serenity poison and kill every member of the Isemi family.
- Implanted a beast inside of Aro Isemi leading to Aro's life becoming torturous.
- Makes 600 young girls commit suicide as sacrifices to the grail so she could summon Beast
- Kills Nigel Saword.
- Had Arthur kill Bryhildr.
- Kidnaps a random girl named Suzuno Yoshimori.
- If Hassan of Serenity didn't beg her not to she would have killed Tatsumi.
- Becomes incredibly jealous upon hearing Arthur was spending time with Ayaka.
- Orders Paracelsus to round up sacrifices to the grail.
- Attempts to kill Ayaka (her own sister) by throwing her into the grail as a sacrifice.
- Kills Hiroki (her own father) by having the beast tear him into mincemeat.
- After being resurrected in Fate/Prototype she blackens all the servants from the previous grail war. (with the exception of Arthur)
- Is directly responsible for all the trauma that Ayaka had to experience.
- Planned to use the Beast to compensate for her low magic circuit count therefore allowing her reality warping to be able to overcome the Quantum Timelock therefore allowing her to grant Arthur’s wish which would rewrite history possibly leading to devastating consequences.
- Is incredibly possessive of Arthur, to the point of wanting to kill Ayaka for the simple reason of Ayaka spending time with Arthur
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Genuinely loves Arthur and would be willing to do literally anything for him as shown in the series, this is actually the cause for most, if not all of her bad actions. It altogether does little if anything to excuse the vileness of her actions however, so it’s a minor prevention.
- Her “death” is played for sympathy as she states that she “wishes that she could see Arthur smile one last time” after he stabbed her, but with how heinous her actions are and the fact that she didn’t even really die this is also a minor prevention.
Trivia[]
- Manaka is currently the only Near Pure evil from the Fate franchise.
- She was the equivalent of Illya Von Einzbern for Prototype, with numerous resemblances between the two characters such as them both being older siblings of the Main Character but appearing to be younger.
