What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- She cursed Aurora to die by her 16th birthday, simply as petty spite for rightfully not being invited to Aurora's christening as a result of her previous crimes.
- She kidnaps Prince Philip and locks him in the dungeon of her castle.
- She manipulates Terra into stealing Aurora's heart.
- She tries to kill Ventas.
- She spitefully lies to Ventus that Terra willingly took Aurora's heart.
- She imprisons Aqua in her dungeon when she refuses to join Maleficent in her plan to conquer the universe.
- She tries to kill Philip and Aqua to stop them from freeing Aurora from her eternal slumber.
- She captured Aurora and destroyed her own world.
- She, Pete, and the council of Disney villains captured Cinderella, Snow White, and Belle, and destroyed their worlds. She also allowed Captain Hook, Ursula, Oogie Boogie, Hades, and Jafar to use the Heartless in their attempts to conquer their own worlds.
- She set about trying to use the Heartless and the Seven Princesses of Heart to unlock the door to Kingdom Hearts so she could conquer the universe.

What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Despite her verbal abuse of Pete, she is willing to continue to work with him, and she never physically abuses him despite his many blunders.
- She is somewhat honorable as she stopped attacking Data Riku and Sora and allowed them to escape for the time being after Data Riku saved her life, saying it "made them even".
- She has genuine affection for her Raven, Diablo.
Trivia[]
- This is so far the only version of Maleficent to be Near Pure Evil as her original counterpart fails the heinous standards too much and is otherwise bog-standard.
