~ Makucha to Kion and Fuli. |
Makucha is a major antagonist in the Disney Jr. show The Lion Guard, the midquel to The Lion King II: Simba's Pride. He is a surreptitious leopard who is Fuli's and later Kion's final archenemy.

His Evil Ranking[]
What Make Him Close to Being Pure Evil[]
In General[]
- While he is a leopard and has to hunt to survive, he takes sadistic joy in trying to kill his prey and taunts them while doing so.
- While Scar is much more dangerous than Makucha with it implied that he had killed thousands while Makucha only attempted to kill hundreds, Makucha doesn't have the exact resources as him compared to the number of their armies: Scar had an incalculable number of hyenas in the first film and in the Lion Guard he had an army of numerous species of animals including hyenas, jackals, crocodiles, vultures and various other reptiles, while Makucha only had leopards, komodo dragons, porcupines, and a binturong as allies so he does not fail the heinous standards.
- While he does have some comedic moments that make him not taken seriously sometimes, he’s still a huge threat by The Lion Guard and always taken as a serious threat in universe.
- While he doesn’t abuse his minions and seems to call them “friends”, he shows no care about them, only seeing them as pawns and barely mentioning his other pack in Season 3 and while he was happy to see his two leopard minions, this was only because they were useful to them, as he showed no reaction when they got defeated by Kion's roar, only worrying about himself. He's also showed no care for Chuluun and Ora as his relationship with them is mostly professional and he is shown to fight with them sometimes.
Season One[]
- He chased Ajabu all the way into the Pride Lands trying to catch him and kill him all while taunting him.
- While he did give up trying to kill Ajabu, this is only because it was going no where at all and because the guard outnumbered him.
Season Two[]
- During a large drought, he prevented the Back Lands zebra herd from getting any water from their watering hole by blocking the water.
- He threatens to eat Dhahabu, if the Lion Guard get any closer to the waterhole.
- When Fuli and Makini escort the wise tortoise, Kongwe across the Back Lands, Makucha notices their presence from a tree branch and approaches them, assuring them that they're always 'welcome'.
- He tried to kill Kongwe who was hiding in her shell.
Season Three[]
- When he sees the Lion Guard in his territory, he along with Jiona and Fahari started to attack the guard.
- After watching Chuluun lose to Bunga's terrible smell, he encounters and talks to her asks her to join him on his quest to the Tree of Life.
- He and his army started to cornered a family of tigers.
- He and the rest of his army started to block the rest of the night pride with a giant rock so they can cause mayhem to the tree of life and eat the animals in it, despite them being endangered and sick or injured.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has a pet the dog moment when he saves Kion from a giant rock despite having no reason to do so.
- However, this is quite minor, since he undermines this treatment of Kion by attempting to kill him and his friends.
