His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is perfectly willing to force innocent and good people into committing crimes on his behalf. He uses his position as a loan shark to force people to commit perjury and he threatens to kick out all of Gina's orphan friends out of their home if she doesn't help him get off scot free for his crimes. He also manipulates Naruhodo into helping him get away with his crimes, tricking the rookie attorney into perverting the court of justice by unintentionally lying on his behalf.
- He is especially cruel to Gina, who witnesses him murdering Mason, forcing the terrified girl to sit next to the body and blackmailing her into keeping her silence, causing her an extreme amount of trauma.
- He kills Mason for trying to free his son from a treason plot.
- As a loan shark, he holds huge debts over people's heads, getting them to do anything he wants under threats of harm befalling them. He has no concern for the many lives he ruins throughout this path, and while the results of his actions aren't as explicitly stated as Redd White, it's certain that the victims of his actions suffer greatly.
- What really pushes him above the average heinous standard is his willingness to commit treason just to make a quick buck by selling confidential government secrets, which would have caused immeasurable damage to Great Britain.
- His philanthropy is merely an act to present himself as a good person to the public in order to make himself above suspicion, as he intends to control London with his wealth to further his criminal activities. He uses bribery to corrupt the justice system, only caring about saving his own skin.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has some honor, offering to pay Naruhodo well for defending him, clearly impressed by his skills. He has no reason for doing this, though this is after tricking Naruhodo into going far beyond his legal limits into winning the case for him.
