Louis "Lou" Pappas is the main antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Acceptable Loss". He is a sadistic pimp and sex trafficker who abducts young women from other countries and forces them into prostitution.

He was portrayed by Alon Abutbul, who also portrayed Aamir Barkawi in London Has Fallen.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He is a sex trafficker who with his son Mikey, kidnaps women from foreign countries, tattooing them with barcodes, and having them broken in before forcing them into prostitution
  • He has Mikey rape and occasionally beat the prostitutes every night.
  • He lures Vika to him with an ad for a nanny job, before imprisoning her and sending her to Mexico to be broken and so he can force her into prostitution.
  • He and his son make Anna, one of their prostitutes, to be subservient by showing her pictures of her little sister in her home country and threatening to have their friends take her, too.
  • When Vika becomes pregnant with Mikey's child, Lou forces her to abort it, having Mikey to take her to get the child aborted. When she runs away and attempts to escape, Lou has her beaten to death, making him responsible for the death of his unborn grandchild as well.
  • He is paid by terrorists to take Sofia, one of the terrorists into his home undercover as a prostitute so that she can carry out a bombing that would kill numerous people, giving her own room to stay.
  • He is stated by Anna to currently have "eight or nine" sex slaves
  • When Anna comes home after being assaulted by a violent client who tore her dress, Lou furiously blames her and denies her pay, tearing her dress off and humiliating her. When Mikey suggests that Lou let him have sex with her to pay back her lost money, Lou gladly accepts.
  • When he is arrested, he attempts to throw his son under the bus for his crimes and shows no care for him, calling him a "fat moron".
  • Despite this being another small scale, he has some slight personal villainy to the SVU detectives as he ordered the rape of Pilar Morenas, who was later forced to be one of Johnny Drakes many slaves.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • It is implied he has additional victims, though it is never confirmed and while the terrorist plot he aided is known to have casualties, the details of it are not gone into, thus causing him to suffer from Fridge Horror and fail the absurd heinous standards.
