What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?

• Makes several gang members kick Benito, a young boy for 12 seconds to allow him into the gang, while showing sadism, while the gang members go beyond 12 seconds he does nothing to stop them just kept saying "12".
• Imprisons a Chavala/18th street gang member and makes Benito shoot him dead, then cuts him into 18 pieces and feeds his remains to dogs, the worst part is that this is onscreen, another bad thing is that this is the only way that Benito a child is accepted into the gang.
• When Willy and Casper are lying by their gang, he makes Willy hand over his gun then makes several gang members kick them both on the ground for 13 seconds.
• Attempts to rape Willy’s girlfriend Martha after he takes her out, but Lil Mago accidentally kills her by knocking her against a tree.
• Apathetically tells Willy that she died in an accident and that he’ll find another love.
• Threatens Willy and Benito that if he catches them lying again he will kill them both.
• Breaks into an immigrant train heading to the US with Willy and BEnito
• While on the train, he robs everyone for any money while threatening their lives with a gun.
• When he spots a young teenage girl Sayra he attempts to rape her saying that she will enjoy it.
• Hits Sayras dad with a gun.
• When this becomes too far for Willy he slashes Lil Mago’s throat open, while horrific, it isn’t played for sympathy at all.
• His death haunts Casper from beyond the grave as Benito is sent to kill Casper who kills him with three shots then other members arrive and finish the job to avenge Lil Mago.
• Despite his limited screentime, he is one of the most heinous characters in this movie and stands out for being so vile.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?

• He cares for his baby child, comforting it by saying that the 18th street gang member they captured won’t hurt him.
• He’s somewhat of an extremist as he robbed the people on the train so he can get food and water for his members who are in prison.
