HEY! HEY, HEY, HEY, HEY! KEEP THAT UP! I DIDN'T SAY YOU COULD PUT THAT DOWN! I want the whole world to know what Sam and Dean Winchester are capable of.
~ Leviathan Sam threatening a diner customer during the shooting.
Well, goodnight, St. Louis. You've been a wonderful crowd. Grab your socks and hose, Iowa, 'cause we're headed to you next.
~ Leviathan Dean announcing the next target on camera.

Leviathan Sam & Dean are the main antagonists of the Supernatural episode "Slash Fiction".

They are two Leviathans who, under the orders of Dick Roman, disguise themselves as Sam & Dean and commit several mass shootings across the country, specifically in the cities Sam and Dean did jobs in, and frame the Winchesters for their crimes, resulting in Sam & Dean becoming some of the most wanted men in America and having to go into hiding.

They were portrayed by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles respectively.

Their Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Them Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • They go on a massive crime spree across the country, robbing, shooting, and killing hundreds of people in towns that the real Sam and Dean had worked hunting jobs in before. At least 50 of these brutal murders are shown onscreen.
  • During said crime spree, they posed as the Winchester brothers, incriminating the real Sam and Dean and forcing them into hiding.
  • Unlike many shapeshifting villains in the show who use the Winchesters' looks to psychologically abuse them for fun, the Leviathan dopplegangers actually extremely hate Sam and Dean. This is shown when they spend minutes ranting about their human counterparts' flaws, with the Dean doppleganger complaining on Dean's addiction to fast food and his 'hero complex', and the Sam doppleganger saying Sam has "two thumbs and a full-blown Bats in the Belfry." While this conversation is somewhat comedic, it does not detract from their villainy.
  • It is mentioned that the Sam doppleganger ate his Leviathan brother when the latter had mental problems.
  • While murdering everyone in a diner in St. Louis, they force a teenager to film their crimes, in which not only do they kill the teenager and his friend, but also sadistically address the camera, saying St. Louis was "a wonderful crowd" and that Iowa is next.
  • The dopplegangers then orchestrate the arrest of the real Sam and Dean, taunting them from inside the Impala.
  • At the police station, the Leviathans murder and take the form of 2 police officers before the Sam doppleganger kills and eats another.
  • The only reason that the Dean doppleganger is mad at the other doppleganger is because they are wasting time, and that they could grab another meal later, before they both shapeshift back into Sam & Dean.
  • When the real Dean encounters Leviathan Sam, the doppleganger takes Dean's gun and chucks him into a glass display of police trophies. He then taunts Dean over his weapon of choice being an axe before being decapitated and burned.
  • Meanwhile, the Dean doppleganger finds the real Sam in the interrogation room. He complains about how Sam & Dean waste so much time being good and taking care of each other, and that they're wasting a perfectly good opportunity to subjugate the weak.
  • He then reveals some of Dean's secrets, with the biggest being that he killed Amy, Sam's monster friend, and severely enjoyed the look of shock on Sam's face, saying that before claiming his victims, "I like my meat a little bitter." His reveal of Amy's murder resulted in the real Sam and Dean separating for a week and a half.
  • While they seem to have a mutual hatred for Sam and Dean, the dopplegangers are never shown to care for each other in the slightest.
  • While their actions were loosely under the orders of Dick Roman, the dopplegangers were shown to have control of what crimes to commit and when, showing that they actively went for the worst option they could think of. Their actions even shocked another Leviathan posing as an FBI agent who has watching the diner snuff film.
  • They were also not loyal to Dick, arrogantly questioning how the Winchesters could possibly be considered a threat.
  • While they only shoot people instead of eating them, they had to constantly move to avoid being arrested and when having time, ate people, such as the police officers.

What Prevents Them from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • As they are Leviathans, the dopplegangers are part of one of the most powerful species in the series. While they individually aren't as powerful as other villains, they are working directly under the orders of Dick Roman, the most powerful Leviathan and the owner of a massive corporation, giving them access to much higher resources than villains such as Terrance Clegg and Ruby, so they fail the Heinous Standards.
