After everything we did. After everything we sacrificed. He will not be satiated. I may be the youngest of the Bishops, Little Lamb, but I am strong. And you are in my woods. I WILL DESTROY YOU!
~ Leshy to the Lamb if Heket is killed before him.
The worm, it is hungry. It feeds. It partakes of our flesh. But that is the price for safety. For that we gladly give it all we have.
~ A follower of Leshy as they prepare to sacrifice someone to him.
Winds of change blow; dost thou sense it? Around us, the world creaks and turns. Afore, it stood immobile. Motionless centuries grow rust. Now Leshy hath fallen, and hereupon the inhabitants of this land begin their fight anew to presume power. Ye shall not find them so easily dispatched again.
~ Haro to the Lamb if they return to Darkwood after Leshy has been killed.
I recall Leshy. Prior to yourself, he was the last to bargain with me. Adept as he was, he rose quickly to the challenges of Godhood, aided by his siblings. Many were drawn to his chaotic ways.
~ The Mystic Seller after the Lamb defeats Leshy a second time.

Leshy is one of the main antagonists of the 2022 roguelike action-adventure game Cult of the Lamb. He is a Bishop of the Old Faith, the ruler of Darkwood and the Deity of Chaos.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Alongside his siblings, he controls the cruel cult of the Old Faith and had his followers sacrifice countless people to him.
  • He clearly doesn't care about his followers, having them sacrifice themselves so he can use their energy to empower himself and not caring that his transformation accidentally kills even more.
  • It's implied that he and his siblings killed the other deities that used to inhabit the Lands of the Old Faith.
  • Alongside Heket, Kallamar and Shamura, he chained away his brother Narinder, turning him into The One Who Waits. While The One Who Waits definitely isn't a good person, Leshy doesn't seem to have trapped him out of good intentions but simply because he was a threat to his and the other Bishops' power.
  • Alongside his siblings, he killed all the predecessors of Ratau and the Lamb.
  • When a prophecy foretold the demise of the Bishops and the reawakening of The One Who Waits, he and his siblings killed all the lambs in the Lands of the Old Faith to try and prevent it.
  • When the Lamb is revealed to still be alive, Leshy attempts to kill them.
  • As an undead, he attempts to kill the Lamb once more.
  • While he's eventually converted to the Lamb's cult, this isn't a redemption since the cult is morally grey at best and Leshy still shows some arrogance and hostility towards the Lamb.
    • While he can do things like getting lovers or giving compliments to the Lamb, these are just default actions all followers have, thus making them nothing more than something for gameplay purposes.
      • Although he does mellow out after the Lamb helps him

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He fails the Heinous Standards when compared to Heket (who gives her victims a fate worse than death with the same resources as Leshy).
  • His thoughts as a follower show that he cares for his siblings, with him stating that "it's nice to be together, after all this time". It's even implied that, despite everything, he still has some care for The One Who Waits since at some point he refers to him as "dear brother".
  • He seems to respect the Lamb, expressing gratitude for seeing his realm one last time and removing his pain.
