“ | Lady Bone Demon: Know this, Monkey. You and I are not so different. We both fight for what we think is right. That pursuit only leads to one thing. MK:Mhm. To destiny, right? Lady Bone Demon: No. To pain. |

~ Lady Bone Demon's final words |
“ | Lady Bone Demon: Oh, my power has far surpassed what it was when we last met in battle. And now I sense you do not have what it takes to defeat me. Monkey King: Hmph. That won't stop me from trying. Mayor: A hero to the end. How delightful. Lady Bone Demon: [chuckles] No backup and no weapon. So your plan is to... fistfight a child? Monkey King: ...We both know that's not what you are. |

~ Lady Bone Demon confronts Sun Wukong as he decides to take on her by himself |
The Lady Bone Demon, called Little Miss Mistery by Spider Queen while in her host form, is the main antagonist of LEGO Monkie Kid, specifically of the "Lady Bone Demon arc", composed of Seasons 1-3, and a posthumous overarching antagonist in subsequent seasons.
She is an ancient, powerful demon with the ambition of recreating the Mortal World so it can be "perfect", after becoming delusional with the selfishness of its rulers. She was foiled by Sun Wukong and his friends, being imprisoned in a coffin, but was found and freed, hundreds or thousands of years later, by the Demon Bull King, and rose into power once again, dedicated to complete her cause, and in the process facing Sun Wukong again, as well as his young successor, the Monkey Kid.
She was voiced by Victoria Grace, who is known for voicing Pomegranate Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
In General[]
- Even if she is supposedly an extremist who only wants to create another world because she believes the current one is beyond saving, she is time and time again proved to be little more than an arrogant demon with a Messiah complex. She dismisses all of MK's attempts at showing the what is worth saving in the world, and how it had lots of good qualities even though LBD insisted on only acknowledging the bad ones, as "childish notions", and ultimately, her goal is just recreating the world the way she believes to be perfect, with no one getting any say in the matter.
- Plus, as Season 3 shows, she is far too hooked up on the actual end goal of recreating the world to actually genuinely care about the mortals like she once did in the past.
- While she is quite affable towards him, Lady Bone Demon possess no real care for the Mayor, as as soon as she is confronted about it, she calmly replies Sun Wukong that the Mayor is going to be killed along with everyone else when her plan is completed, and even if he never loses his loyalty to her, she abandons him, leaving him powerless and exchanging him for a possessed Wukong as her enforcer, not even mentioning him afterwards.
Background[]
- After becoming delusional with the world due to becoming advisor of an Emperor in an attempt to make the lives of mortals better, but seeing his selfishness got in the way, she started an uprising in his kingdom, led by his own Chief of War, who she convinced to join her side, and has him murder his former boss.
- Following that, she envisioned and got obsessed with her goal of destroying and recreating the world, believing it to be destiny, and in an attempt of achieving her goal, got defeated by Sun Wukong and his companions.
- Despite Monk Tang Santzan sparing her life rather than killing her like Wukong wished, and imprisoning her with the goal of having her reflect on her actions and become better, she never did so, instead becoming even more crazed in her end goal.
Season 1[]
- After being freed from her tomb by Demon Bull King, and being absorbed by him (while she was a blue mist and he was not aware of its sentience) she partially possessed him and helped him take over Megapolis, much more brutally and effectively than usual, and then tried to get him to murder Red Son and Princess Iron Fan, his son and wife whom he loved.
- After being forced out of DBK, she found a little girl alone in an alley, and possessed her in an apparently very painful fashion.
Season 2[]
- Now inhabiting the Little Girl's body, she approached the demoness, Spider Queen's, lair, and said she'd help her, using the Bone Key and empowering her army of Spider Bots, leading to Spider Queen taking over the city and brainwashing its inhabitants.
- Upon meeting Wukong again, she taunted him about how she'd destroy him, his protégé and the world, leading to Wukong going on a secret quest during Season 2 to find a way to defeat her, and keeping MK in the shadow about all that.
- Helped and lead Spider Queen's goons, Syntax and Huntsman, on gathering magical components of a weapon that will supposedly allow Spider Queen to become the most powerful she's ever been. In these, quests, Syntax and Huntsman attacked and endangered several people, and tried to kill Monkie Kid.
- When she met Monkie Kid in person for the first time, she pretended to be the innocent girl she was currently possessing and tricked him into hitting the Trigram Furnace, which would complete the ritual she had been collecting magical items for. When that failed, she revealed her true nature to Monkie Kid, and psychologically tortured him by causing him mental pain while verbally striking all his biggest insecurities, particularly those about being a worthy successor to Monkie Kid. This is the first he was hurt by a villain in such a way, and was played dead seriously.
- She had Mayor kill all of Spider Queen's goons and absorbed their spirits, soon doing it to Spider Queen herself, while she begs for her to be spared, marking the first time a character is killed off for good in the show.
- After releasing her Bone Mecha, she tricked MK into hitting it with his powers and staff, absorbing his powers and nearly trapping him in crystal/bones forever, if not for Wukong's intervention. She also traps the whole city with her powers, and as eventually shown by the Demon Bull Family's near demise, these crystals are growing throughout the world as her power gets bigger.
Season 3[]
- Orders Macaque, who despite his rivalry with Wukong, usually doesn't pick sides in bigger scale conflicts, to hunt down Monkey King and Monkie Kid and bring them to her, with him only complying out of fear and wanting to clean off his debt.
- Because of this, she is indirectly responsible by Macaque's crimes throughout the season, such as assaulting the Dragon Palace on the East Sea, and threatening the Monkie Kids to brutally coerce Tang into starting the Samadih Fire ritual.
- She uses the host she is currently possessing, an innocent young girl, as moral shield against Wukong to prevent being killed when he fights her directly. When even that fails, she strips the Mayor off his powers and put it all into Monkey Kign, possessing him, and showing she does not care for the Mayor, who she carelessly abandons.
- She tries to mind rape Mei into giving her the Samadih Fire, an ancient power the girl currently possess. While Mei is captured, she resists the mental torture and keeps the Fire contained within her, though LBD keeps taunting and tormenting her until she lets it all out.
- Released her host when she had enough power to recreate her own body, but in such a way the little girl nearly fell for her death out of the height LBD was at the time, if not for Macaque saving her.
- When Mei started giving in, she attempted to use the Samadih Fire to destroy the world once and for all, and would've succeeded if not for MK and his friends halting her attempt for long enough to Red Son get Mei out of the living battery state she was in, leading to her getting out of the Bone Mecha, leaving LBD powerless to the final blow.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Her final scene is played for sympathy, even if just a little. Accepting her demise, Lady Bone Demon, despite not showing remorse for any of her actions, engages in a peaceful conversation with MK, and explains to the boy that despite fighting for what he thinks it is best, just like her, his actions will lead to the same things hers lead: pain, finally admitting there is no predetermined destiny. She says that with a sad expression, and MK appears shaken by her words. Although she is still loathed as a villain in Season 4, the narrative treated her death scene with considerable sympathy.
