His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Before the events of the cartoon, he killed Prince Svyatoslav (Vladimir's father) and made a bowl out of his skull. After that, he became Vladimir's most hated and sworn enemy.
- He made an alliance with the evil sorcerer Krivzha and helped him to quarrel with his brothers-princes Vladimir and Yaropolk, as a result of which the latter died. And this gave the Pechenegs more chances to invade and seize Russian lands.
- Together with his squad, he burned Russian villages in order to undermine the authority of Russian princes, as a result of which a lot of people died, including Aleksha's grandfather.
- Having caught Aleksha, he allowed his troops to sadistically mock him, and then gives him into slavery to his son Giyar.
- When his servant told him that Vladimir was gathering tribes together in Kiev, which was unprofitable for the Pechenegs, Kurya was going to kill him with a bow, but Giyar saved the servant. By doing this, he showed that he does not care about his people and is ready to kill them for the slightest mistake.
- He was going to capture all the gold from Russia for himself and his people.
- Together with his squad, he was going to attack Boyan's house to kill him, Aleksha and the wounded Vladimir.
- Although he apparently demonstrates some measure of honor, since he enters into a one-on-one fight with Prince Vladimir, when the latter challenges him to a fair fight, he still fought him dishonestly, using the power of a Krivzha and a second sword. And eventually lost the fight.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
