Kurogao is a major antagonist in Yozakura Family. He is the main antagonist of the Kuroyuri Arc and a political figure of the Kuroyuri party hoping to someday rule over Japan.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He faked his death and lured several politicians he worked with in order to kill them because he felt betrayed due to the death of his daughter. He did this by faking bribes, framing others for crimes they didn’t do, and poisoning them.
- He staged an assassin attempt on him to gain approval from the citizens of Japan for him to rule over it.
- He placed a bomb inside the International Environmental Conference to kill politicians that didn’t comply with what he wanted, when the bomb went off it exploded a fountain due to Asada moving it.
- He shoots Taiyo and reveals he had a backup bomb and blew up the building, no one was killed in the explosion however.
- He reveals to Taiyo that his parents death was no accident and that he knows information about the deaths, but he refuses to give in to Taiyo.
- He kidnapped the Deputy Prime Minister Shirosagi and blew up a transportation truck to get away from the scene.
- He tried forcing Shirosagi to admit to crimes he didn’t commit on live television in order to destroy his reputation and if he refused he would’ve killed him if not for Taiyo coming in to disrupt the broadcast.
- He tells Taiyo that he’ll reveal what he knows about his family if he backs off, meaning more people would die under him if Taiyo gives in.
- He continues to try and kill Taiyo before he gives up and decides to tell him all he knows before he is shot mid way through.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is tragic, while before he was carrying out orders from politicians and didn’t have a grasp on what was good and what was evil as a spy, this was all dropped when a politician he worked with betrayed him by trying to kill him, and succeeded at killing his daughter, Yuri, which may not justify all his actions, but it is played for sympathy and is the main motivation for why he does all the evil things he does.
- He cares for both his wife and daughter, seeing how he's spent time with his daughter on her birthday with silly outfits, and his entire reason for wanting to kill politicians is to avenge her.
- He did give up and show some ability to Taiyo after finding out both of their families died and out of respect, was going to give him more information around his family's deaths, though this doesn’t count as a redemption because he didn’t apologize for any of his previous actions.
