Kubar or Quval is a team leader of Space Outlaws Deathgalien and is a major antagonist of Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger. He holds nothing against harming anyone in his way and even before his death is a tough opponent to beat.
He was portrayed by Mitsuo Iwata.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Despite his tragedy of losing his homeworld to Ginis' sadistic blood game, Kubar nonetheless joins him and brings ruin to many more worlds just for Ginis' amusement. While the joins him only to take revenge on him, the things he does as a Team Leader are still unjustified.
- Experiments with Amu (Zyuoh Tiger) and mixes her with a meoba which turns her into a hybrid that has the Moeba side reign over her thoughts. Furthermore he sends her on Tusk (Zyuoh Elephant) who he makes fight her and toys with him (attempting to break him) on whether he will harm Amu, making Amu point a gun directly at his face for the fight and intensity to continue to his pleasure.
- After Bangray learns about Kubar's secret the latter strikes a deal, providing his efforts to help find Cube Whale and one of these times he pollutes the ocean with a harmful poison possibly harming so many sea creatures and even killing them if let unintended just so he can lure out the Megabeast.
- This poisons Sela and Misao (Zyuoh Shark and World respectively) and injures them that even requires them to stay out of the subsequent fight at least for a short period.
- After Bangray is defeated and he almost blows Yamato's (Zyuoh Eagle) friends to smithereens, he turns on Bangray and mutilates his powerful arm of and even if the former is Pure Evil it still shows the lengths he is willing to go.
- Uses the arm's memory copying power just as test for his plan's to come but commits two depraved acts.
- The first being that he makes a replica of a con man from a woman's memory and sends it on Sela in an attempt to break her connection to the other Zyuohgers.
- Is responsible indirectly for Sela's heartbreak as she learns the man who she fell in love with was a cheater and had ill intentions all because of him creating the replica in the first place.
- Kills the con man replica when he betrays Kubar and has nothing against it.
- The second time is when he makes a copy of a criminal and makes it give a boy (who knew the real one) a weapon which the aforementioned boy uses on Leo (Zyuoh Lion) and injures him with it as a result.
- Captures Naria who is close to Ginis so he can overthrow Ginis and this action is a catalyst to his Moral Event Horizon.
- Gets his hand on Misao through the Ginis copy which torments him before he is taken away.
- Kubar leaves Misao for dead and in critical condition next to a river leaving the man almost broken.
- Upon that he makes a copy of Misao to coerce them into fighting Ginis showing that anybody he sees is a tool to him.
- When the Zyuohgers are fighting him for a last time as he attempts to kill every human being, they ask him why he feels no remorse for his actions and he responds by saying that he couldn't care less for Earth cementing the loss of his world as nothing more than an excuse. Because of this, his death is not played for sympathy nor do the Zyuohgers mourn him.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Doesn't quite meet the Heinous Standards of Ginis and Bangray, who have done far worse, though Quval's own crimes are quite bad on their own.
