The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.
~ Verbal Kint's most famous quote.

Keyser Söze. also known as Roger "Verbal" Kint, is the main antagonist of the 1995 crime film The Usual Suspects.

He was portrayed by Kevin Spacey, who also played Hopper in A Bug's Life, Lex Luthor in Superman Returns and Jonathan Irons in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He is a ruthless crime overlord feared throughout the criminal underworld and by the police as he’s possibly one of the biggest criminals ever, and he’s possibly involved in every criminal act.
  • He murdered many Hungarian mobsters and smugglers on a ship, then set the ship on fire. It is revealed that at least fifteen people died.
  • Later revealed that someone survived the fire but died because his injuries were too much.
  • He killed his entire family, including his kids, because he was threatened by the Hungarian mafia, and later he wiped out the entire Hungarian mafia, along with their families, friends, and business partners.
  • He manipulated and used a group of criminals by acting like he had a disability, killed some of them along the way, and in the end, when they were in or around the boat, he killed all of them and burned them alive.
  • He killed Keaton’s girlfriend, as it says they find her dead later in the film.
  • In the end, he managed to get away with all of his crimes and win over the police.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He suffers from Fridge Horror, as the true nature of his most heinous crime, which is him murdering his family, and him killing people in his stories he told, could be all lies as he made all the stuff up from the office, and also as he is holding back on his resources as he is considered a crime Overlord and involved in nearly everything illegal, and the extent of that is not shown.

Trivia[]

  • He is directly referenced by Rick Prime from Rick and Morty, another Near Pure Evil.
