Kalypso is the main antagonist of the 2023 DC Extended Universe superhero film Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the sequel to the 2019 film Shazam!.
She was the middle child of the Hesperides, who wishes to take back the powers her father gave to the Wizard Shazam.
By the 21st century, Kalypso comes across Billy Batson and his foster siblings, who fight crime as the Shazam Family, leading her to unleash a dragon over the city until they give up their powers. However, she betrayed her sisters and therefore subverts from Atlas' legacy, planning to conquer the Earth, kill Shazam and his allies, and even be willing to remorselessly destroy her sisters for interference until she was killed by Billy Batson.
She was portrayed by Lucy Liu.

What Makes Her Close To Being Pure Evil?[]
- After her father was defeated by a previous version of Shazam, she, alongside her sisters, went on a quest for revenge.
- Unlike her sisters however, she decided to go further and went after the Earth also.
- She turns a civilian into a vicious animal, turns several other civilians into statues and pushes one of those statues of a security guard to make sure he actually died despite his pleas.
- She forced Freddy's kind teacher to kill himself and forced him to watch when she did it.
- She repeatedly tried to kill the Shazam family, going as far to summon Ladon.
- She killed her older sister Hespera and tried doing the same with her younger one Anthea and also ruined the latter's relationship with Freddy, showing she does not care for them.
- She is responsible for Shazam temporarily sacrificing himself to stop her and her dragon from omnicide.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Evil?[]
- She genuinely cares about her father Atlas, as his defeat was her motivation for revenge against the Earth sort of along with her sisters.
