What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He fathered an illegitimatize child named Emily with Gretchen Morgan who he completely ignored
- As the head of the company, he's responsible for many of the bad things that happen in the show like Lincoln being wrongly imprisoned, Alexander Mahone's family being threatened, the deaths of the Fox 8, and people who opposed The Company or got in its way.
- Ordered Michael to be imprisoned in Sona, a prison in Panama so he can break out company operative James Whistler
- He later orders 2 helicopters to attack the prison and try to take Whistler forcibly, this causes the deaths of several prisoners and inmates as the new warden was more ruthless than the one before and the prison was destroyed for this very fact.
- When he becomes dissatisfied with Gretchen's progress in breaking Whistler out, he flies down to Panama himself and threatens her.
- He orders Wyatt Matthewson to kill Mahone's son Cameron.
- Krantz orders the death of Roland Glenn and shows no remorse for doing so.
- He kills his own friend Howard Scuderi just for questioning his orders.
- He forces Michael Lincoln, Sara Tancredi, Mahone T-Bag and Don Self into working with him by threatening the lives of their loved ones and has Self's wife murdered after finding out Self betrayed him.
- After he's imprisoned Krantz uses his emergency funds to arrange a hit on Sara in another prison just to spite Michael.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is genuinely respectful to his allies, no doubt he is very cold, stoic, and remorseless, but he is overall, fair to people he hires and is affable to them
- He cares for his daughter Lisa as he allows Michael's group to leave the company headquarters when they use her as a hostage.
