Jinx is the secondary antagonist of the TV series, The Ghost and Molly McGee.

She is a ghost who works for the Ghost Council as a Joy Hunter, seeking out and destroying powerful sources of joy. She later becomes determined to destroy Scratch and Molly McGee for spreading joy in Brighton, violating the ghost code and killing The Chairman.

She was voiced by Liza Koshy.

Her Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • She shows absolute sadistic pleasure in her job of snuffing out joy.
  • She attempts to kill Molly in order to get Scratch to confess to his friendship, despite the latter being a teenager.
  • She tricks Scratch into thinking he is skimping out on Geoff’s party out of spite towards him.
  • She curses Scratch with bad luck and has no intention of removing the curse until Scratch inflicts the same curse onto her.
  • She refuses to let go of her grudge against Scratch and Molly, stating her intent to hold it proudly before leaving.
  • She steals the Chairman cloak from Scratch and uses its power to take over the Ghost World.
  • She recreates the Flow of Failed Phantoms and imprisons many ghosts inside regardless of whether or not they did anything wrong.
    • Among the ghosts she imprisons is one of the Barrister Ghosts, who used to be her allies.
  • She declares her intent to take over the human world, sending her Sobgoblins to suck the joy out of and presumably destroy humanity.
  • She captures and imprisons Molly and forces her to serve her infinite joy to empower her Sobgoblins. Had Jinx succeeded in her world domination plans, she would've given Molly a fate worse than death.
  • She attempts to kill Ruben after her Sobgoblin army is destroyed and the Chairman cloak is taken from her.

What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • She never subverts her loyalty to The Chairman, as she always refers to him as "The Real Chairman" even after she dons his robe, and she makes it clear that she had no intention of disrespecting his legacy when she decided to take over the human world.
  • She appears to care for her Sobgoblins, as she treats them rather kindly.
  • She has several comedic moments that detect from her heinousness.
