Jerkov is major antagonist in Grand Theft Auto 2, the fourth installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
He was the Russian leader of the Kovski Bratva/Russian Mafia in the Industrial District, which rivalled the Hare Krishna and Zaibatsu Corporation. He was also a former soldier that worked for the Soviet Union, before being kicked out.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has been kicked out of the Soviet Army, presumably because of several crimes he committed during his membership.
- Gained a criminal record in both his home country, Russia and the United States. Specific crimes include:
- Being linked to the deaths of numerous US underworld figures in 1994.
- Committing a knife attack in 1996.
- Caught possessing heroin in 1997, a contraband drug.
- Murdered members of rival gangs by disembowelling them.
- He also showed a deep envy against the US's capitalist ideology, and stole several vehicles and weapons to sell to Russia as a result.
- Formed the crime organization called the Kovski Bratva, also called the Russian Mafia, which had been in gang wars with the Hare Krishna and Zaibatsu Corporation.
- Orders Claude Speed to steal a bus to kidnap dozens of civilians, which would be minced into hot dog meat that he and his mafia suboordinates would eat. What makes it worse is that the civilians can be heard crying and pleading to be spared, while Jerkov orders the shootings of any civilians attempting to escape the processing plant.
- While it is changed to Hare Krishna members in the PS1 version, it's still an extremely brutal method of killing them.
- Orders the kidnapping of 4 drug dealers that are suspected to be Zaibatsu affiliates, and has them drowned by the vehicle they're in being moved underwater by a crane.
- He even stated that he'd prefer to use them as hot dogs next time, which furthermore depicts him as a ruthless cannibal.
- He orders Claude to destroy 2 cop cars, a SWAT van and 2 Special Agent cars in 5 minutes so that the marketplace is disrupted and the protection money from the emergency services is extorted.
- Not to mention, Claude has to commit a continuous crime spree to get the latter vehicles, making Jerkov indirectly responsible for any casualties in the spree.
- Orders the murder of Nova Bright and 8 other Hare Krishna assassins to gain protection, as his suboordinates were drunk.
- Has 3 tanks destroyed after some Zaibatsu members got jealous of Jerkov, as he beat them in a poker game.
- Has Claude, Ivan and other mercenaries massacre Krishna members in the Vedic Temple, at the time of 2 minutes.
- When ordering several suboordinates to be rescued because one of them has knowledge of an informant, he has the generators in the Zaibatsu Power Cores destroyed and several members killed.
- After learning about the informant's intentions to expose his wife's dirty information to the authorities, he has Claude Speed disguise as a cop to send the latter to be executed by several men, including his son.
- After learning that Claude betrayed him, he and other faction leaders attempt to have him killed, only for them to get killed by the latter.
- While his name is a comedic take on the phrase "Jerk off", it's not detracting because it's never emphasized by anyone in the game.
- Despite the high Heinous Standards of GTA, Jerkov still stands out for several reasons:
- He's from the 2D Universe, so he doesn't have to compare to villains such as Avon Hertz, Trevor Philips, Eddie Low, Dimitri Rascalov, Marty Jay Williams, Toni Cipriani, Carl "CJ" Johnson, Frank Tenpenny, Asuka Kasen and Donald Love.
- His crimes of grinding innocent people so that they can be cannibalized is brutal enough for him to stand out.
- While Hans Nemesis is worse than him, as he tried to blow up Britain and get thousands killed in London with poisonous supplies, Jerkov has lower resources, as he is unable to target thousands.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He seems to have a degree of affability and respect to Claude, as he calls him a 'Comrade', awards a good amount of money, and invites him to hang out with him and his lady friends. The only reason he attempted to kill him was because of his betrayal by being self-serving.
- He cares for his wife, as he has the informant killed for trying to spread dirty information of her to the police.

- He's the only GTA Near Pure Evil to come from the 2D Universe.
