So the thing about jiujitsu is... that strength does not matter. It's all about this. It is a strategic game, like chess. It's all about getting two, three, four moves ahead.
~ Jeremy Armitage to Chris.

Jeremy Armitage is a major antagonist in the 2017 horror movie Get Out.

He was portrayed by Caleb Landry Jones.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He acts as the muscle for his family and kidnaps African Americans to be possessed by members of the Order of the Coagula. He is first shown attacking Andre Hayworth and knocking him unconscious, taking him back to his family where Logan King's brain is transplanted into him.
  • He helps his father to perform the brain transplant surgeries, making him involved with the overall possession process.
  • Upon first meeting Chris, he acts aggressive and racist towards him, attempting to put him in a headlock after stating his "genetic makeup" would make him a great MMA fighter.
  • When Chris tries to escape the Armitage family home, Jeremy blocks the exit and taunts Chris to attack him.
  • He and his father tie Chris to a chair and he helps to prep Chris for the brain transplant surgery, Jeremy aids his father in the transplantation process.
  • After being knocked out by Chris who escapes after killing Dean and Missy, Jeremy violently attacks him and puts him in a headlock and sadistically trying to choke him to death.

What Prevents Him From Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He fails the Heinous Standards to his parents, grandfather, and sister, who each have more direct roles in the family crimes.
  • He is genuinely angered by his parents' deaths and tries to kill Chris to avenge them, showing he had some care for them. However, him attacking Chris could also be out of anger from the latter knocking him out earlier.
