Jean Pierre Richard is the main antagonist of Kiss of The Dragon, he is a corrupt French inspector who was at the head of a prostitution rig.
He was portrayed by Tchéky Karyo.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He beat up a man for an unknown reason and ordered to Igor, one of the twins to kill him.
- He killed a mob boss and one of his prostitute and put the blame on Jian.
- He accidentally killed some of his men when he tried to shoot on Jian and shown no remorse for it.
- He killed one of his men when this one refused to follow Jian in a conduit.
- When Jian threw a grenade in the sleeves of one of his henchmen rather than helping him he used him to try to kill Jian with the blast of the explosion.
- He broke his promise to let Jessica and his daughter go, drugged her against his will while she had stopped taking it for weeks and forced her to continue to prostitute herself.
- He accidentally killed innocent civilians when he tried to kill Jian in a tunnel and shown no remorse for it.
- He kidnapped Jessica's daughter to incite Jian to bring back the record.
- He mistreated his pet turtle.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He was clearly upset by the death of his right-hand Max showing that he cared about him, however it's a minor prevention.
