I have tasted the flesh of fallen angels... I've tasted the Devil's green blood. It runs in my veins. I have seen beyond the world of skin, the architecture of blood and bone marrow... Death is coming... She is coming, and Hell follows with her. This is the twighlight winter. I am ready to be her son! Her time is now, and all who stand in her way... must die! [He laughs] Die! You'll die, you'll die, now, all die. [He howls again] THE WOLF!
~ Jack Lupino's demented speech before his fight with Max begins.

Jack Lupino is a major antagonist from the 2001 third-person shooter game Max Payne and main antagonist of the first act. A drug-addicted underboss fascinated with the occult, he's an unhinged high-ranking member of the Punchinello crime family, and one of the key figures in the distribution of the Valkyr drug.

He was voiced by Jeff Gurner.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes His Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Working for the Punchinello crime family, he organized various illegal cases for them, such as prostitution, drug trafficking, contract killings, etc.
  • He shot his subordinate Dino just because he wanted to see his brains smeared on the wall. After that, Lupino's right-hand man, Vinnie Gognitti, was scared to death of his boss.
  • Fascinated by the occult, he stopped being devoted to his boss Punchinello, and began to organize satanic rituals.
  • He killed several innocent people, believing that he was sacrificing them to various Dark Gods and demons. After that, he drew various devilish symbols on the walls of his club with their blood.
  • He believed that he was summoning Dark Gods and Demons into the human world in order to plunge it into darkness and become one of them.
  • After meeting with Max, he began to say that he allegedly tasted the flesh of fallen angels, and is ready to summon all demons and dark gods to earth, after which he attacks Max, believing that he prevents him from performing the ritual, but in the end Max kills him.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He became such a crazy maniac because of the influence of the drug "Valkyrie", to which he became very addicted, which creates some problems with his moral will for him.
