You better not give me any trouble.
~ J.B. Allen to Billy Henderson

J.B. Allen is the main antagonist of the Criminal Minds episode "Foundation."

He is a sadistic pedophile who lures boys into his company, then kidnaps and sexually abuses them for years before finally killing them.

He was portrayed by Garrett M. Brown.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He started his serial murder/rape spree while his wife, who was completely unaware of what he was doing, was still alive, meaning any potential love for his wife is not a disqualifying factor as he also never shows any sign or indication that he cared for her throughout his screen-time.
  • After starting his construction company, he would routinely lure in young boys to abduct and sexually abuse them for years while keeping them locked up in his basement, before he disposes of them by forcing them into his car and driving them to his first development site in Mesa then burying them alive; all this while having house after house constructed and built upon his potentially high number of victims.
  • After disposing of his victims, he would collect "trophies" and souvenirs of the boys items (dozens of souvenirs are discovered in the episode).
  • He abducted Angel Suarez and raped him for years on end with Angel even confirming that he used to 'bite' him, leaving bite marks on Angel's body. Furthermore, the effects the abuse had on Angel are utterly devastating, with Angel suffering from extreme PTSD, acting terrified at even the slightest sounds, and later attempting self-harm via cutting his wrists, intending to commit suicide.
  • While indirect, he traumatized his daughter Samantha after she witnessed him forcing Angel into his vehicle when she was a little girl.
  • When Angel escapes from his clutches, he abducts Billy Henderson to be Angel's replacement.
  • When he becomes aware of the fact that the BAU is investigating him, he attempted to bury Billy Henderson alive, which would have suffocated him to death.
  • While he does call his daughter peanut and gives her toys of his victims, this is a clear facade and he only gives her the toys to gloat over them without seeming weird for having children items.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He fails the absurd heinous standard to other pedophiles and murderers in Criminal Minds. This is mostly due to the fact that while he has a clear pattern establishing he killed many people, we are not given an exact number compared to multiple other villains with confirmed double-digit kills.

Trivia[]

  • If J.B. Allen had a confirmed body count, it is very likely he would have qualified for Pure Evil.
