What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- While he's a member of the resistance, he has no loyalty to their goals of stopping Amaterasu. He constantly talks about how it won't work. It's rather odd he's even in the resistance in the first place, as he never helps them.
- He ended up coming up with an elaborate plan to benefit him and get money for himself and then leave Kanai Ward.
- First off, he forced Servan to work with him and create bombs for him.
- He then tricked Yuma into planting bombs around Kanai Ward under the impression they were cameras. One of these locations was a girls-only high school. He used this to frame Yuma for terrorism.
- He then detonated one of the bombs. While no casualties occurred, he then planned to blow up the other three, endangering multiple lives. In fact, if you fail at the detonation minigame, they would've killed you, Fubuki, and later Kurumi near the end of the defusing process, if not for Fubuki's ability to time travel. This isn't even mentioning that one of the bombs was in a bracelet Yuma couldn't take off that'd blow if he didn't defuse the others.
- Icardi killed Shachi to frame him for the terror attack on Kanai Ward after doing the same to Yuma, since Shachi's death would mean he couldn't argue the fact that he wasn't involved.
- He then jumped off the building into the storm drain, and proceeded to flood Marunomon District during this escape. The entire city. The water submerges the banks, causing the safes to float up to the top, for Icardi to steal and flee with. This endangered, if not ended, the lives of the residents of the city. It even needs repair help a while later.
- Even though Makoto Kagutsuchi, someone covering up the truth that Kanai Ward's citizens are defective homunculi for "their sake", Yomi Hellsmile, the corrupt Peacekeepers director who is wholly irredeemable in every possible way, and Dr. Huesca, the creator of said homunculi, pass both the general and in-story standard for their crimes, Icardi stands out from them for having less resources as the aforementioned three villains are Amaterasu Corporation's leaders, in contrast with Icardi who is merely a citizen of Kanai Ward, meaning he has barely any resources in comparison to them.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- We don't know the true impact of his crimes. The deaths in Marunomon are solely implied, and no bodies are ever seen. We can't tell just how many people ended up affected by the flooding, meaning he relies on fridge horror.
