| ~ Hydros announcing his plans for revenge on Zeus while massacring a horse herd. |
Hydros, also known as the Ice Titan and The Lurker, is one of the four overarching antagonists (alongside Lythos, Pyros and Stratos) of Disney's 35th full-length animated feature film Hercules, based on the legendary heroic figure Heracles.
He is one of the Titans who were imprisoned by Zeus in the distant past shortly after the universe's creation. Thus, Hydros and his brothers desire revenge on the Gods of Olympus, chance they get when Zeus' youngest brother Hades frees them centuries later.
He was voiced by Jim Ward.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Like the other Titans, he was a destructive and dangerous monster who wreaked havoc and all kinds of misery on mankind, which resulted in billions of deaths until Zeus stepped in and trapped them in Tartarus.
- Upon his release by Hades, he agreed to help him conquer the universe by taking over Mt. Olympus to get back at Zeus for his imprisonment.
- He started causing massive devastation after being freed via freezing an entire herd of horses to death.
- He attacked Olympus and froze Zeus after Pyros puked up lava at him, forming a frozen magma prison that trapped Zeus as Hades claimed the throne.
- He tried to kill Hercules and Pegasus by freezing them to no avail when he attempted to free his father and the other gods, even freezing Hades accidentally.
- He tried to run away when Zeus blew up both of Lythos' heads after being freed, abandoning Hades despite his orders to come back and kill his enemies.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He suffers from insufficient characterization due to only having a few lines in the movie.
