The Hyde Gene is an omnicidal lifeform that feeds on life from other worlds ruinating them in the process. He serves as the main antagonist of GoGo Sentai Boukenger: The Greatest Precious.
He is played by Shōzō Iizuka while as the Hyde Gene and Nanase Hoshii as his Muse form.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Committed Omnicides and Genocides on countless planets before coming to Earth millions of years ago, and continued to do the same to all planets afterwards as well.
- When first coming to Earth although vague, did manage to drive the dinosaurs (who did no harm to him) to extinction.
- For all the planets he invaded he stole their genetics, assimilating them within himself and that was his heinous excuse for the omnicides of the dinosaurs and al those other species from other worlds.
- Cannibalized members of a planet due to absorbing genetics from the species.
- Destroyed parts of Tokyo just to set up his base and get people's attention, so he could round up the strong in his sick death game.
- Cruelly tortured Natsuki (Bouken Yellow) and Souta (Bouken Blue) in fiery flames in a hot and damaging desert landscape, before kidnapping them.
- Used spiders to hunt down the remaining Boukengers and captured Sakaru (Bouken Pink) and Masumi (Bouken Black) with their harmful nature pulling them into an abyss.
- Attempted to assimilate Akashi (Bouken Red) into himself and cannibalize the rest of his captured friends.
- Planned to execute his depraved Omnicidal process on another planet, after he lost to the Boukengers.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Although Super Sentai is a kids show, Genocides and Omnicides by some villains have at least shown one or two instances of this heinous act. The Hyde Gene is never shown committing omnicides on other planets. Therefore, this counts as off screen villainy even in this circumstance lowering his heinousness.

- The Hyde Gene is one of three Boukenger Near Pure Evils along with Quester Rei and Quester Gai.
- The Hyde Gene is so far the only Super Sentai Near Pure Evil to commit Genocide, not to mention even Omnicide.
- The Hyde Gene is the 8th Super Sentai Near Pure Evil.
- The Hyde Gene is also the first exclusively movie Near Pure Evil from Super Sentai.
