~ Hunter after killing Spider and claiming leadership of the gang. |
Hunter Thibodeaux is a minor antagonist in Dead Rising 3, and the main protagonist of the Chaos Rising DLC. He was a high ranking member of an anarchistic biker gang named 'The Kings of Chaos' until he was incriminated by Spider for a crime he didn't commit.
This causes him to bust out of jail after the zombie outbreak began and work towards getting back into the gang but after he sees that his friend Torque is no longer the leader, he and Torque come up with a plan to take back the gang. However after Torque is killed by Spider, Hunter puts his idea on hold and takes the Rollerhawg that Torque had informed him about and begins driving to the quarantine zone to exact his revenge.
He was voiced by Joe Egender in the original game and Billy Wickman in Chaos Rising.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Even though he had a tragic past being bullied by his friends and family which led him to stuck in a rebellious teenagers mental state, It's still no excuse as he killed people who has no involvement in his upbringing.
- He was a high-ranking member of a biker gang named 'The Kings of Chaos' who caused anarchy and destruction throughout Los Perdidos.
- After escaping jail, he helped Spider and the rest of the gang murder an entire quarantine zone of people as when Nick and Rhonda make it there, the zone is completely empty, there are many empty civilian cars next to it, and the gang have taken it over and turned it into their personal base. While Spider was the one who started the massacre, the game heavily implies that Hunter helped him finishing the job before being doublecrossed.
- Being betrayed by Spider, on his revenge quest, he would murder at least 20 men in some cases just to satisfy his sadism even when some didn't want to fight him.
- After he spots Nick and Rhonda coming towards their base, he tells his men to make an ambush for them in order to kill them for fun.
- When he sees Nick with Mel and Clyde, he makes it look like he is going to run Nick over but instead he just runs over Clyde and Mel and laughs it off straight after despite Nick being horrified by their deaths.
- Hunter purposely killed Mel and Clyde out of revenge for trying to help Spider kill him earlier and clearly took sadism in this act as he laughed about it.
- In spite of meeting every criteria to be an approved psychopath, Hunter is fully sane enough to clearly distinguish right from wrong.
- He attempts to run Nick over or burn him to death with his Rollerhawg before Nick throws a molotov at him and Hunter drives into a gas tanker, killing himself in the process.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He cared for his former boss, Torque and was loyal to him as he followed all the orders given by him and was devastated when Spider killed him, burning his corpse to make sure he didn't suffer any longer and went out of his way to get revenge on Spider for Torque's death.
