Harjit Singh, also referred to as the "Commander", is a major antagonist of the Dead Rising series. He is the secondary antagonist and final boss of Dead Rising 2: Cast West and the comic miniseries Dead Rising: Road to Fortune. He is the head of security at the Phenotrans Facility as Marian Mallon's personal bodyguard and was responsible for the Las Vegas and Still Creek outbreaks.

He was voiced by Haroon Khan.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?

• Murdered Dr. Curnow by breaking his neck after he tried to frame the Phenotrans for the zombie outbreaks.
• He released queens into the town of Still Creek not long after, wanting to kill even more people and quipping "why Vegas have all the fun eh", causing thousands of deaths, and causing the events of Dead Rising 2: Case Zero.
• He and several Phenotrans agents infected the entire city of Las Vegas, causing over 100,000 deaths, including Chuck's wife, and causing Chuck's daughter, Katey, to become infected, along with at least 1 million others.
• He attempted to kill Frank West and Chuck Greene after they infiltrated the Phenotrans compound, and smashed the USB stick that Isabela gave to them due to it containing evidence of Phenotrans involvement in the outbreak.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?

• Most of his worst deeds were under the orders of Marian Mallon, his boss, which means he doesn't stand out compared to her.
• He appears to be genuinely loyal to the Phenotrans company and their boss Marian Mallon, as shown when he captured Dr. Curnow after the latter planned to frame the Phenotrans for infesting zombies in various cities and then killed him when Marian ordered him to.
