Grem and Acer are major antagonists in Pixar's 12th full-length animated feature film Cars 2 and Acer is a cameo character in its 2017 sequel Cars 3.
They are Lemons who work as some of Professor Zündapp's henchmen (although they secretly work for Sir Miles Axlerod).
Grem was voiced by Joe Mantegna while Acer was voiced by Peter Jacobson.

What Makes Them Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- They killed agent Leland Turbo under Zündapp's orders by crushing him through a car compactor into a cube, even showing the remains to Zündapp.
- They helped Zündapp interrogate Rod Redline after having Allinol installed into his system, during which Grem slowly increased the electromagnetic pulse to torture Redline to near death, before Zündapp personally killed him.
- They used the EMP to blow up a few cars, causing them to get into serious accidents that risked their lives.
- In the last race in Great Britain, they both tried to kill Lightning McQueen while forcing Mater to watch under Axlerod's orders, just because McQueen wanted to use Allinol for the last race.
- When they failed to kill McQueen, they tricked Mater into going to the pits to save McQueen without telling him there was a bomb in his hood, so that Zundapp could blow up the pit stop.
- Like all of the Lemons, they showed no remorse for their actions and do not have mitigating qualities.
- They stand out from most of the lemons since while most of them were hands-off in the plans, Grem and Acer personally hit the cars with the camera and tricked Mater into heading to the pit stop.
- Though they felt undervalued due to being laughed at by others, not only is this far too petty to justify their actions, but their deeds also outweigh it by a large margin.
- Despite working well alongside each other and their fellow Lemons, it is not confirmed if they genuinely care beyond professionalism and sharing a common goal.
What Prevents Them from Being Pure Evil?[]
- They both fail the Heinous Standard to Axlerod and Zündapp, since all of their worst actions are under their orders.
- They have comedic moments such as Acer being smacked by a bathroom stall after Mater leaves it, Finn spraying Acer with a fire extinguisher, Acer being slung into the logo for a sushi restaurant, Acer driving through a plane and landing in a truck providing lavatory water for the plane, and their defeat of Holley causing them to be slung into a bar, destroy all the tables and spill drinks on the patrons, causing the patrons to beat them up.
