His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He sided with the Confederacy during the Civil War, and since he was implied to have been wealthy, he likely owned slaves or at least saw no issues with slavery.
- He ordered a massacre at Fort Brennand despite the fact he already won the battle.
- He commanded his men to keep charging during the battle of Scarlet Meadows despite the fact it was clear they would lose.
- It is implied that Harris was actually betraying the Confederacy due to him wasting the lives of hundreds of his men, as mentioned by a civilian.
- Upon seeing that the battle was a losing game, he fled, ordering his men not to retreat to save his own skin.
- He does not care about his men and views them as only tools for his glory.
- He presumably dies of natural causes and goes unpunished for his crime.
- While he has a family, that is mentioned, there are no signs, that he cares about his family members.
- While he does have a memorial hall named after him dedicated to helping veterans, it’s unclear if he started it himself, and if he did, nothing indicates it wasn’t pragmatic and not out of the goodness of his heart.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He lacks sufficient characterization due to being unseen. However, these are minor preventions due to his ego, cowardness and callousness, as well as his big "Coward" statue seen in game.
