~ Mr. Ross confronting Rigby and Mordecai. |
Mr. Ross is the main antagonist of Cartoon Network's 6th animated feature film Regular Show: The Movie, based on the Regular Show television series.
He is Mordecai and Rigby's former volleyball coach and the latters archenemy. After Rigby accidentally caused his team to lose an important volleyball match and his firing due to a failed experiment with his friend Mordecai, Ross becomes a galactic warlord bent on getting back at Rigby through the use of Timenados.
He was voiced by Jason Mantzoukas.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Created a time machine after Rigby made him lose the volleyball game tournament to get revenge on him.
- Attempting to destroy the Earth and erase Time using the Timenado.
- Killed Future Benson with an explosive volleyball after the latter bought time for Future Rigby to warn his present self.
- Repeatedly emotionally torments Rigby with the threat of exposing his lie to Mordecai and ruining their friendship.
- Threatened to kill present Mordecai if Rigby didn't read his rejection letter to ruin their friendship, only to shoot at Mordecai anyways and making Future Mordecai block the shot, leaving him to die.
- Furthermore, by killing Present Mordecai, it would void Future Mordecai and cause him to fade from existence (as shown when Future Mordecai's body disappears after Present Rigby and Mordecai mend their friendship). This implies that despite Future Mordecai's loyalty to Mr. Ross, Ross never valued him and only saw Mordecai as a tool of revenge; one he was willing to sacrifice if it meant spiting Rigby.
- His excuse of losing the volleyball tournament is incredibly petty, laughable, and unjustifiable for him trying to destroy the Earth and erase all of time.
- He has no redeeming qualities unlike his past counterpart, who redeemed himself after Mordecai and Rigby apologized to him, seeing the error of his ways.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has detracting comedic moments, such as his excuse of losing a volleyball tournament being too petty and laughable to take seriously and his defeat and “And I must scream” fate being played for laughs with his head constantly dying and reviving while his headless body wonders around aimlessly before running off a platform.
