The Fight King is the main antagonist of the Adventure Time episode "Morituri Te Salutamus". He is a deceptive, sinister, sadistic, and cruel arena master known to regularly enforce fatal battles in his arena for his personal amusement.

He was voiced by Dee Bradely Baker.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • In the past, he would regularly lure people from across the land to battle in his arena, little to their awareness his odious intention of forcing them to battle to the death.
  • In staging his battles to the death, he preferably staked friends and even loved ones against each other for the sake of his own sadistic enjoyment.
  • As for the victor of his duels, his choice of "rewarding" them is forcing them to continue existence serving as another gladiator ghost under him.
  • Sent his gladiator ghosts to kill Finn and Jake when they give in to his temptation for battle.
  • The fair number of ghosts shown also prove he has carried out his methods of operations several times.
  • Attempted to have Finn murder Jake.
  • Although he is shown ascending to the afterlife with the rest of the spirits at the end of the episode, it is only out of having possibly found peace in death rather than showing any regret for what he had done.
  • He overall has no redeeming qualities of any sort, showing no sense of remorse for his heinous actions.
  • Although the Heinous Standards are certainly stellar within the franchise, the Fight King stands out with not only his low resources, but also the sheer cruelty of his likewise unique acts of horrific enormity.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • As heinous as he proves himself, he has some comedic moments where he is not taken completely seriously. Despite the unambiguous heinousness of his actions, they are not presented with complete serious gravity due to Jake singing to help out Finn as well as the latter managing to trick him into thinking a dirt sculpture was the real Jake.
