Fatal Error is an antagonist created and owned by AnarackWarriorsStudios and the titular main antagonist of the Fatalverse.
He is a power-hungry, sentient computer virus and part of the fatal copy species. An unruly, defective offspring of Fatal Prime, Fatal Error grew to become an insatiably megalomaniacal entity obsessed with power and a desire to corrupt all life.
Defecting from Prime and the rest of his species in favor of inhabiting a Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles ROM, Fatal took over Sonic's body, enslaved his friends and began scheming to become the most powerful being in the multiverse before ruling it as a god.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Although he was an outcast among his species and was mistreated by his creator, it doesn't make him tragic at all as he himself has become far, far worse than Prime could ever be.
- Even before he became all-powerful, he despised Prime and dreamt of killing her and proving his superiority, viewing her and the rest of his species as inferior to him.
- He hijacked peoples' computers and smuggled code to deliver to Prime.
- He hijacked a Sonic 3 & Knuckles ROM out of curiosity and began to corrupt the game out of fun.
- Deciding to acquire a vessel, he chased Sonic and captured him, mutilating his body by tearing out his arms before possessing him and locking him in his mind.
- He sadistically captured, killed, corrupted and enslaved Sonic's friends and enemies, including Tails, Knuckles, Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic, Mecha Sonic, and every other living being in the game, turning them into his brainwashed puppets and eventually conquering the world.
- To further toy with Sonic, he offered Sonic a chance to get his body back. Sonic accepted and was forced to fight back against his corrupted friends and family.
- After a while, Sonic defeated his minions, only for him to reveal that he never intended to let Sonic go and made him fight his allies purely out of enjoyment and wanting to see him suffer before corrupting him as well and sending him back into the deepest corner of his mind where he could never regain control of his body again.
- He betrayed Prime by cutting off the strings that connected them, becoming independent and abandoning her and the rest of his species.
- Upon discovering the existence of the multiverse, he devised a plan to achieve godhood and limitless power, kill Prime and rule the entire multiverse as a god just to prove his superiority over Prime and prove that he could do it.
- He showed no care for his code puppets which are eternally in complete agony and suffering, only seeing them as valuable pawns he can use as his own personal sentient weapons in battle.
- Any comedic moments he had are very minor and don't detract from how heinous he is.
- He possessed the main characters of various other games that he's hijacked, such as Mario, Kirby, Peppino, Sans and Kris Dreemurr.
- It's also confirmed that he's put them, their friends and family through the same pain he put Sonic and his game through. It was also commented that "it doesn't get old to him", highlighting his lack of remorse.
- Overall, he is completely lacking in redeeming qualities and does what he does out of his own ego, sadism, hatred of Prime and obsession with power.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He had moral agency issues due to being a computer virus that's inherently evil and cannot do good and has shown no proof of being capable of doing good things or understanding morality. However, he did still possess a very sadistic personality, making this a somewhat minor prevention.
Trivia[]
- His non-canon counterpart didn't qualify as Near Pure Evil since he hasn't been given much focus, not to mention he's played for comedy and has friends who he actually cares for.
- It's currently unknown if his Sonic Villains counterpart will qualify as Near Pure Evil.
