Excella Gionne is the secondary antagonist of Resident Evil 5, She was a highly decorated executive of the Tricell Pharmaceutical Company who conspired with her benefactor Albert Wesker in his terroristic plans to accomplish Project Uroboros by spreading the virus across the world.
She is voiced, modelled and mo-captured by Nina Fehren.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Came from a wealthy family but because of this and her beauty she became too arrogant and egotistical.
- Upon being promoted to Wesker’s second in command, she and him used las plagas parasites given to them and mutated them into two variants, the type-2 & the type-3 who infect people immediately rather than over time.
- Developed many BOW's with Wesker like the U-8 & Popokarimu.
- Gave the BOW's and the las plagas variants to her hired bioweapons dealer Ricardo Irving where he infected the people with the plagas in Kijuju & the Ndipaya region and turned them into Majini. who are mindless monsters. and he sold the BOW's to terrorists around the world.
- Using funds from sold BOW's by Irving she made the Uroboros virus with Wesker and planned on releasing it into the world, knowing that her actions would kill millions.
- Kidnapped thousands of people from across the world to be test subjects for Uroboros Virus experiments.
- In Uroboros's final stage of development in 2009 she ordered the death of all her researchers to prevent unexpected information leaks
- Sends U-8 to kill Chris and Sheva and meets them through a virtual call and taunts Chris about Jill's location.
- Infected a random innocent man with the Uroboros virus as a demonstration for Chris and Sheva to see what it does to the body and shows no care and sadism when he starts mutating uncontrollably and leaves Chris and Sheva to his mercy.
- While Chris believes that at first she simply wishes to sell Uroboros to terrorists, it is eventually explained that she has even worse plans.
- When Chris and Sheva meet her with Wesker and brainwashed Jill she sarcastically says bravo and then leaves them to Wesker and Jill's mercy.
- While she eventually falls victim to Uroboros, this alone does not make her sympathetic as she had transformed a man into a monster using it.
- Despite the High Resident Evil heinous standards, Excella stands out for trying to infect the world with Uroboros which would kill millions.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She cares about Albert Wesker and appears to even have an infatuation with him which Wesker takes advantage of, she is genuinely heartbroken by his betrayal. As such, there is a element of tragedy to her death.
