Ellen's Predecessor is the unnamed predecessor, accomplice, and foster mother of Ellen, and the Greater Scope Villain of The Witch's House.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- When she was alive, she murdered many innocent people and sacrificed their souls to the Black Cat Demon in exchange for more power and learning new spells.
- She was very sadistic, to the point that even the Black Cat Demon found her a bit unnerving (though not for moral reasons).
- Because of her actions, the leftover spiritual residue of her victims were forced to wander the house for eternity, never able to find peace in the afterlife (unless the house would eventually be destroyed one day, which is very unlikely since it goes to another dimension whenever it does not have a current witch).
- She used her magic to become the house itself because she liked killing people and wanted to continue doing so eternally.
- She mentored Ellen and aided her in killing many people over the centuries while also grooming her to be cruel and evil.
- She does everything she can to help Ellen escape while leaving Viola to die.
- Despite not being able to speak due to being a house, she is capable of communication via the messages she leaves Ellen, and she controls the house in a way that allows body language, which is shown in the prequel story, The Diary of Ellen. As a result, characterization is not a problem.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She genuinely loves Ellen like a daughter, as she had done everything to help her like helping her escape.
