~ Elder Princess Shroob immediately after being unleashed from the Colbalt Star. |
The Elder Princess Shroob is the overarching antagonist and final boss of Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time. She is the elder twin sister of Princess Shroob and the true leader of the Shroobs, although her capture meant that Princess Shroob took over in her place.
Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- In the past, she led a species of destructive and imperialistic aliens who carried out their actions under the command of her and her younger sister.
- Although she has a tragic background, having lost her home planet and fought for the survival of herself and her species, this aspect is never treated sympathetically. The extent to which she is affected by these events remains unclear.
- She was nothing short of brutal toward the Toad race: she had completely destroyed their residences and wiped out the majority of the population through a draining method that extracts their life force, ultimately killing them in a torturous manner. Alternatively, many were brutally murdered during her attack on Toad Town, as depicted in the flashback cutscene based on Toadsworth's description.
- Considering that Vim is primarily used as fuel and, to some extent, as a drink, and given its more visible presence in the damaged sections of the floors in Toadwood Forest, where it is transported through roots that share a texture (along with drink one) to the liquid in the pools where Shroobs stand before being transformed into Saucers. Even that liquid has the same scheme colors of Swiggler, this further supports the idea that this liquid is, in fact, made by Vim.
- Demonstrating her true hypocrisy, she and her sister assaulted Princess Peach, Toadiko, and Toadbert, only for her to be subsequently ensnared by the former.
- During the game, she was nothing more than a manipulative liar who saw potential in a pair of brothers and used them as pawns. She was also willing to put their younger selves (infants) in grave danger to achieve her own ends.
- Although he deserved it, she knocked Baby Bowser off Yoshi's Island for eating the Cobalt Star shards.
- After her sister's death, she shroobified Baby Bowser merely to vent her rage.
- After she managed to escape and destroy her prison, she mocked the Mario Bros. of how they are pathetic citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom and decided that she will reward them for obeying her by giving them deaths.
- Before taking the form of the Shroob Mushroom, she mocked the Mario Bros., claiming that the Shroobs would dance on the buried remains of their "pathetic Kingdom". Showing how she does not mind mass genocide.
- She possessed Bowser and tried to kill the Mario Bros. once again, this time removing their chances of counterattack to disadvantage them.
- Although her sister caused much more mayhem in the game, she takes same stairs like her to get to her goal.
- While not as heinous as the Dark Star, it is a much more powerful entity than her for being able to consume the world into darkness, committing omnicide single handedly.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Although her sister showed no care for her, she always loved the former, expressing anger at her fall and calling her sweet, beautiful, and dear. The very next thing she does is seek revenge for her sister, with her undead state not stopping her from pursuing this goal.
