Eddie Poole is an antagonist in the 1999 thriller film 8mm. He is a hardcore pornography producer who works with Dino Velvet and Machine to create a snuff film in which an 16-year-old girl is raped and murdered. He was portrayed by James Gandolfini.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Commissions snuff films in which children are raped and tortured by Machine while Velvet films.
- Acts as a "talent scout" who lures in young girls with promises of stardom before forcing them into films where they are raped and tortured on-camera.
- Accepts millions of dollars from Daniel Longdale to commission a film in which a girl is actually killed.
- Lures 16-year-old Mary Ann Matthews into starring in a film in which Machine rapes, tortures and murders her.
- Orders Machine to abduct and murder Max California after he and Tom Welles begin investigating the Mary Ann Matthews film.
- Lures Welles in to be killed by Machine after forcing him to hand over the only copy of the film, only stopping because he and Velvet decide to kill Longdale for cheating them.
- Shows no remorse when confronted by Welles and taunts him.
