His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Constantly spoke to Michael and encourage Michael to kill his family and also placed the curse of thorn on him which would compel him to kill his entire bloodline. As a result of this, he is indirectly responsible for all the murders and other atrocities Michael commits in the 4-6 timeline.
- During Michael’s killing spree in 1989, he arrived to Haddonfield and watched over Michael everywhere as he was killing people.
- When Michael got captured and was sent to a prison, he came to free him by causing an explosion and then proceeded to gun down Sheriff Ben Meeker alongside Deputy Tony and 6 other officers.
- After freeing Michael from prison, he then kidnapped him alongside his niece Jamie Lloyd and brought them to Smith’s grove sanitarium where he then hid them for 6 years
- Had Michael impregnate Jamie in order to for her give birth to a child so Michael could kill another member of his bloodline in order to fulfill the curse.
- After Jamie gave birth to her son Steven, he forced one of the nurses to take him from her and give to him instead while completely ignoring Jamie who was pleading for him to let her see her Steven.
- After Jamie survived getting stabbed by Michael in a barn, he shot her dead in her sleep while claiming that her work was done.
- Stalked and tormented Kara Strode’s son Danny while also encouraging him to kill his family like with Michael.
- Drugged Tommy Doyle and Dr. Loomis while also kidnapping Kara, Danny, and Steven and bringing them to Smith’s grove.
- Tried to have Michael kill Steven as his final sacrifice while also intending on passing on the thorn curse on to Danny and having him kill his mother as his first sacrifice.
- Had Michael go after Tommy, Kara, Danny, and Steven when they tried to leave. (Fortunately Tommy stop Michael by putting him in a trance)
- During his presumable death after Michael switched clothes with him, he grabbed Loomis wrist and marked him as Michael’s new guardian while remarking “It’s your game now, doctor Loomis”.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Despite how ruthless and remorseless he is, he is somewhat of a well-intentioned extremist as he genuinely believes that passing on the thorn curse onto a child and have them kill their entire bloodline would bring balance and stop war, famine, and disease from spreading. This is in contrast with the theatrical cut version where he was simply power hungry psychopath and was exploiting the powers of thorn for the sake of his own ego. The producer's cut version of him is still equally as heinous however.
Trivia[]
- In the original script, when Wynn is showing the power he has over Michael, he uses Dawn as Michael's target to force him to kill as a demonstration of his power had this been kept in both Theatrical and Producers cut it would make him far worse.
- Dr. Terrence Wynn is, alongside the 2007 remake version of Michael Myers, one of the two Halloween villains to be Near Pure Evil.
