His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- In the past, he made attempts to force people to be happy. While his past plans weren't described, his actions and desires caused Wander to treat him as a serious threat who couldn't be reasoned with.
- He stole a pillow from a museum and removed most of the feathers from the inhabitants of Cluckon so that he could create a "tickle machine" that would force people to laugh forever. He first used it on Lord Hater, Commander Peepers, and many of Cluckon's inhabitants.
- It's indicated that the effects of the machine were painful. All of the victims were physically unable to stop laughing, but their expressions and statements indicated that they were suffering. Hater claimed that it was the worst thing that had ever happened to him, while Peepers was curled up on the ground and clutching his stomach as tears came out of his eye.
- Screwball later stated that he planned to force the entire universe to be "happy," indicating that he planned to subject everyone to this type of torment.
- When Sylvia confronted him, he tortured her by blasting her with his tickle machine.
- He tried to convince Wander to join him, and when he refused, he attacked him by firing beams of energy from his accordion. After the banjo Wander was using to fight him was damaged, Screwball blasted him several times and prepared to kill him.
- He later tried to steal a ring that he believed would grant him unlimited power. When he saw that Wander was nearby, he attacked him with a weapon that fired banana peels.
- Although he claimed to be "spreading joy" across the universe, he is not a genuine well-intentioned extremist. He outright called his plan "foul," told the population of Cluckon to tremble with fear, and made a joke that involved him asking what was worse than his tickle machine. This indicates that he's simply delusional and is mainly committing crimes for his entertainment.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Evil?[]
- His worst crime wasn't given enough weight, since even though it's indicated that the effects of his tickle machine were painful, it's unclear exactly how badly his victims were suffering. Additionally, everyone quickly recovered with no lasting effects.
- He seemed to form a genuine friendship with some of the other villains, since he was seen socializing with them at both Lord Hater's and Emperor Awesome's barbecues.
