Her Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Siding with the fire-starting side of VFD, presumably brainwashing people even before doing so and during the schism.
- It was implied she was responsible for burning down Paltryville, only for her to then blame the Baudelaire parents before later convincing the lumber mill owner Sir to redact all the pages of the Paltryville fire over a grudge.
- Brainwashing all of the lumber mill workers into slave labor for nothing more than making a quick profit.
- Helping Count Olaf brainwash Klaus and later use him to cause a fatal accident at the lumber mill.
- Brainwashed Charles to prevent him from revealing the truth about the Baudelaire’s parents and Paltryville fire.
- Ordered a brainwashed Klaus to try and kill Charles by sawing him in half.
- When he plan was close to being completely foiled by the heroes, she attempts to throw Sunny, who's only an infant, into an incinerator.
- Her seemingly sympathetic backstory that led to her committing the atrocities that she did soon turn out to be fake and her real motive is revealed to actually be a mere petty grudge she held due to the Baudelaire parents justifiably getting her medical license provoked for using hypnotism unethically.
- Her genuine love for Olaf and vice-versa was completely shredded near the end of the episode, signifying her debasing from a standard villain to a much more heinous one.
- Despite her death via burning alive in a furnace being rather cruel, it was a well deserved one.
- Despite her having her fair share of comedic moments, none of them detract from her villainy.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She fails the Heinous Standards to villains like The Sinister Duo and Count Olaf himself.
Trivia[]
- She is one of the three antagonists in A Series Of Unfortunate Events to be Near Pure Evil, alongside Count Olaf and Esmé Squalor.
- She is named after George Orwell of 1984 and Animal Farm fame.
- Georgina Orwell is the only near pure evil villain in "A Series Of Unfortunate Events" with no redeeming qualities.
- Her original book counterpart is not NPE as her crimes amount to hypnotizing Klaus (while the implication she did this to the other workers is left ambiguous unlike in the show) and one attempted murder, while lacking the personal crimes against the Baudelaire family, thus failing the HS harder. She is also genuinely loyal to Count Olaf in the books as opposed to subverting it like in the TV series.
