Dr. Finitevus is a major antagonist of Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series. He is a mobian echidna that was formerly a part of the Dark Legion under the unofficial title of "Technomage", as well as being a "deputy Guardian", of sorts.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- After his transformation, he believed the world was corrupt and needed to be “cleansed,” which in his eyes meant wiping out all life on the planet
- Sabotaged the defenses of his own city, Albion and then manipulated Dr. Eggman into attacking it. The result was Eggman wiping out 90 percent of the Echidna population, which Finitevus is directly responsible for
- Experimented on the Brotherhood of Guardians and Moritori Rex to learn how to harness Chaos Energy. After learning all he could he threw them all into the Twilight Zone, leaving them stranded for all eternity.
- Broke the Destructix out of the Egg grapes to be his servants.
- He tried to steal nuclear warheads for his plan to cleanse the world
- Manipulated Locke (Knuckles’ father) into leaving Angel Island which gave him access to the Master Emerald.
- Turned Knuckles into Enerjak, an all-powerful Chaos god to use to destroy the world.
- This makes him responsible for Enerjak banishing the Dingoes to Sandpolis and killing Kage Von Strucker and banishing the Echidna survivors to Albion.
- Due to placing a hex on the Master Emerald that could only be broken if one sacrificed there life Locke was forced to sacrifice himself to save Knuckles.
- Due to all the actions he made Knuckles commit as Enerjak, it left Knuckles with the guilt of the crimes he committed and the fact his own father had to die to save him. Knuckles was also unable to face his people and family after what Finitevus made him do.
- Showed zero remorse for causing the death of Locke when confronted by Knuckles.
- Helped the Dark Egg Legion take over Angel Island and take the Master Emerald in exchange for being able to study it.
- Attempted to turn Knuckles into his pawn again my manipulating him, and when that failed, he tried to cut Knuckles in half with a Warp Ring portal.
- Helped Scourge the Hedgehog by breaking him out of prison.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Despite having a sadistic and manipulative personality, he has moral agency issues due to his personality being changed by absorbing Chaos energy from Knuckles. This caused him to believe the world was corrupt and needed to be cleaned.
