Dr. Eric Bronze is the overarching antagonist of the Hungry Lamu indie horror series.

He is the father of Larry Bronze, who was obsessed to find a "cure" to the point that he experimented on his own son and ultimately turned him into a human/lama hybrid.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • Before events of the game he was a fraud who lied about finding a "cure" for incurable diseases through the use of infusing human genes with that of animals, however he was quickly exposed for being said fraud and lost his job.
  • He brought medicine as help to Larry getting cured, only to be killed and later have Larry flee, thus makes him posthumously responsible for dozens of deaths caused by his son.
  • While he might sound like an extremist at first, in reality the only reason he wanted to find a "cure" was because he wanted to become famous and boast his ego.
  • In the prequel games, Seamongrel and Porkbound, he is revealed to have mentored an apprentice who became so frustrated and vindictive at the fact that he lost his job as a scientist and ended up working as an aquarium staff that sells food and snacks to its tourists that he decides to take revenge on all by poisoning the aquarium staff's food with the same drug he used to turn his son into a hostile hybrid abomination, causing the entire aquarium to be infested with sea abominations. In the sequel he tried to kill a three person family, by convincing four bullies to harass the son of the family and possibly burn down their Farm, while drugging them with the same chemicals he used to turn Lamu into a monster, making Eric indirectly responsible for the events of the games.
  • While his apprentice was genuinely loyal to him, nothing states Eric viewed him as anything more than a pawn.
  • While his characterization was rather vague for most of the series, come Hungry Lamu 2, he gets several lines of dialogue in Larry's flashbacks, giving him an appropriate level of characterization.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • In a twisted way, he cares for his son, Larry. He was determined by any length to cure him of his condition. Although this could've been seen as a self-serving reason to regain his reputation and job, he was still willing to go to the store get a gift for Larry after accidentally forgetting it. He also calls Larry someone very brave and capable of making him proud when talking to Tina the day before his birthday.
