Dongsoo Seon (in Korean: 선우 동수, Seonwoo Dongsoo) is the sadistic and murderous psychopathic father of the main protagonist Jin Seon, and the main antagonist of the dark toned webcomic Bastard. He is a serial killer who is known to pull off effective Faux Affably Evil traits in luring mainly women to brutal and tortuous acts in killing while using Jin as an accomplice and antagonizing the girl who he grew to develop close feelings for.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Being a serial killer for over at least a decade and a half.
- Murdered someone for thrill seeking while he was married to his wife.
- He set up a babysitter for Jin Seon only to use that as a trick into getting brutally killed.
- Influencing his son to be a lot like him and got him at the age 2 such as chopping people into pieces.
- Due to his serial killing being an inevitable and obvious marital problem between him and his spouse, Dongsoos wife was sent to a psych ward because of trying to inform everyone that he is a serial killer and attempting to kill her son and making sure he never grows up to be like his father.
- Caused Jin to have PTSD that involved psychedelic horrors of his own father and severe cases of insecurity
- Despite the fact that there were two villains Dongsoo killed, the way he killed them was leaving them to suffer an awful death with them losing breath from their throats being sliced.
- Despite showing some standard over Amoeba Parasites vile threats to Kyun, viewing them as crude, Dongsoo goes his way to stoop on his horrific act on Kyun than may have been worse than what Amoeba would have done to her.
- Provoked Faye Kims psychopathic emotions to endanger Jin Seon and Kyun Yoon.
- Killed Mannys parents.
- Mannys sister had to be on a wheelchair because of the attack
- Got Manny handicapped by having his legs removed.
- Killed Mandeuk who was trying to put an end to his criminal acts.
- Assaulted Kyun Yoons senile grandfather
- Kidnapped and put Kyun Yoons life in danger as a way to taunt Jin into giving into violent murderous tendencies.
- Nearly convinced Jin to give into to his father's traits
- Dongsoo has no good reasonings for his serial murders and does it for the sake of how exciting it is for him to be awful.
- While his suicide forever made his only prevention to remain intact that doesn't mean his consistency of being an evil monster was, as he chose to take the easy way out in getting caught by the police for his horrible crimes, leaving his son to be the only one convicted.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Deep down, he has shown to be caring for his family:
- He is on good terms with his brother and niece by enjoying their company
- He couldn't bring himself to kill Jin's mother for pushing Jin off a building
- Went out of his way to kill Manny for planning to murder Jin who was also bullying him.
- He holds some seem sense of merciful respect, as when Kyun passed his test in being worthy to live, he spared her, though what lead to her being spared by him was under harsh treatment.

- Dongsoo Seon is the only villain in Bastard to be Near Pure Evil, and is one of the six NPEs created by Carnby Kim, alongside Seongbin Yu, One, Three, Four, Seven.
- He was the icon of the Near Pure Evil Wiki Discord server before being replaced with the headlined NPEs.
