Dogranio Yaboon is the main antagonist of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patoranger, a crime boss and the leader of the Interdimensional Crime group Gangler. He is nine hundred and ninety-nine years old at the start of the series and seeks to find a successor to lead the Gangler so he may retire.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- It is said by him that he has destroyed many worlds with his own powers. He also caused near genocide on his dimension’s human-looking species (Kogre and Noel Takao are surviving members of that species) so he can use it as the Ganglers base of operations.
- He led the Ganglers as a criminal empire for many years, having them commit various crimes on Earth such as extortion, blackmail, murder, and theft. The first scene of the series shows one of his monsters run an illegal casino where he cheats in his games and harvests the losing victim’s organs when they can’t pay back.
- Stumbling upon the Lupin Collection by pure chance, he stole the collection and murdered Arsene Lupin in the process simply because he found it interesting to do so. Which means he caused most of the events of the series (Even if Zamigo is the one who caused the formation of the Lupinrangers) purely for his own amusement.
- Noel in particular was devastated by this and he sought to use the Lupin Collection to revive him just like the wishes of the Lupinrangers. However, unlike them, Arsene stays dead since Noel never got to collect all the pieces.
- Announcing his retirement, he tells his Ganglers that the one who conquered the human world will succeed him as the next boss. From then on, he is responsible for the many atrocities his potential successors would cause. Some notable example include:
- Garrat Nargo stealing from jewelry stores and then burning them when he’s done.
- Namero Bacho sculpting a building into a statue of Dogranio regardless of people in those buildings and trying to make more
- Rabroom Jaws kidnapping various people using shark plushies while Dogranio agrees to Gauche experimenting on them, something which she tries doing to other humans later on.
- Merg Arita going to various restaurants to devour the humans inside and then trying to eat the city when enlarged.
- Jenko Copamino trying to bomb various places at high speeds.
- Togeno Aves, with the help of Odoro Maximoff, devising a trick to give Patrangers a collection piece in order to poison Keichiro, requesting Dogranio to personally come to Earth and see it himself. After losing face with Dogranio (see below), he goes to use his poison on many civilians, even having done so to Lupin Red.
- Gabatt Kababacci uses his powers to break the dam and flood the city.
- The Raimon Gang kidnaping chefs in order to force one of them into their services, using pendants to cover humans in plants for eternity, and it’s leader seeking to level the human world after the other two members failed.
- Kunks Butylmercaptan trying to set the city ablaze with scent-disguised explosives.
- Gauche herself creating the Experimental Body, hoping that will level the human world after it’s finished with the Lupinrangers and Patrangers.
- He arrived on Earth with his generals per Togeno’s request to see his plan unfold in person, but it didn't go so well, so as punishment for wasting his time, he attacked him with as much ferocity as the rangers fighting him.
- Desiring to see his right hand Destra “raise some hell again”, he sends him down to send the Lupinrangers and Patrangers to the Gangler’s dimension so Destra can publicly execute them in front of him. Failing that, Destra tries another attempt to impress him by using two of the stolen collection pieces to kill the two teams, but in the process causes massive explosions that destroyed parts of the city, likely causing many casualties along the way.
- When Gauche captured Noel, Dogranio had her perform a live dissection on him. He gets the Lupinrangers to expose their identities.
- He betrays Gauche by stealing all the collection pieces she had just to make things more entertaining for him. This results in her killing herself in order to put her golden safe on her new Experimental Body.
- He enlarged himself to personally rampage around the city to prove he still got it despite his old age. The result is him using the collection pieces to nuke a large portion of the city, causing likely even more casualties and hospitalizing Lupinrangers Touma and Umika.
- He goes on another rampage with an army of Pordermen.
- At Zamigo’s request, Dogranio opens his safe so he and the Lupinrangers can enter, having no intention of releasing them. When the people that are still alive at the time and frozen (the Lupinrangers’ loved ones included) are restored, Dogranio correctly guesses that the Lupinrangers killed Zamigo and he didn’t care. (Though to be fair, Zamigo did deserve it.)
- He tries to kill the Patrangers several times both with and later without his collection pieces in his safe.
- While he’s not killed off and instead arrested and taken to jail where his own chains bind him, it is nevertheless a well-deserved fate for all his crimes and is treated as karmatic (He wanted to retire from being the Gangler boss, but gets his retirement in the worst way imaginable for him)
- Plus even after his arrest, the Lupinrnagers were still trapped in his safe for one year until Jack Striker freed them with the help of the Lupinranger’s loved ones, who temporarily became phantom thieves to save them as thanks for the Lupinrangrs saving them. Also, there are still Ganglers out there.
- He has set the Heinous Standards of the series and, aside from a few humorous lines that don’t detract from his heinousness, is taken seriously in-universe.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is genuinely affable towards his fellow Ganglers, as his goal was to find a new successor to lead them. However, since he isn’t above attacking Ganglers who waste his time and would also betray Gauche, it’s a minor prevention.
- He genuinely cares about his right-hand Destra. When Destra is killed by the two teams, he has a private memorial service where he pours his glass and does a toast while praising his loyalty, after which he gives an angry glare signifying that he wants to avenge him.
