Doc Morbid is a minor antagonist in the 1997 game named Fallout he shows up in a mission named "Blackmail Iguana Bob"
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- While is somewhat of a decent doctor, he heals his patients for insanely high prices and forces them to pay for minor examinations. if they won't pay him, he will kidnap them and harvest their organs to sell their meat to iguana bob. who sells it as iguana-on-stick to unsuspecting customers
- If Vault Dweller is badly injured, he will force them to pay extremely high number of caps for treatment
- If he catches Vault Dweller in his lab, he will attempt to kill them and as the only alternative, he will let Vault Dweller go only if they are willing fully let him cut out one of his eyes. If Vault Dweller returns to him, he will attempt to kill them.
- Considering the facts that Iguana Bob is wealthy enough to regularly pay ransom of 1000 caps for four days of Vault Dweller to remain silent they likely were doing it for a long time.
- Him treating his bodyguards well is pure pragmatism as he need some muscle for his "business". While he seems to treat his assistant Gretch relatively well this doesn't stop him from exploiting his mental illness to make him do his dirty work, even Morbid will tell that the only reason he is around is because he can't tell right from wrong and can't be used as witness as nobody will take him seriously. His partnership with Bob is also most likely out of pure pragmatism what is implied by the fact that he goes behind his back to sell iguana bits alongside his medical supplies in Junk town on his own.
- While he can be killed in game, canonically he got away with his actions and most likely died out of old age making him a Karma Houdini
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He has a twisted sense of honor as he will heal Vault Dweller if they will pay him even after finding out about his crimes and will let them go for letting him cut out one of their eyes, while he likely do it mainly out of greed it is still worth to note that it would be more beneficial to him to simply kill Vault Dweller as he was the only witness of his operations and in both instances Dweller wouldn't be able to fight back.
- He treated Razlo decently when he was his student and shared all of his medial knowledge with him, he also is mentioned to enjoy sharing his medical knowledge with all of his students.
