“ | Joy of joys, this doomsday device can use ice from comets as fuel! Finally nothing is in my way--not Viz, not Quiz, not those meddling kids. Now Vizion is my vision. No more beating around the bush with that "judge the planets" garbage. Just pure, cathartic destruction of all civilizations in sight! | „ |
~ Diz monologuing how he will destroy the world. |
Diz is the main antagonist of the Riddle School video game series. He is a sadistic alien who wants nothing more than to destroy planets for no other reason than simply because he enjoys it.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He deceived Phil into killing Viz in order to usurp control over Vizion.
- He ultimately left Phil and his friends for dead when he had the chance and faked remorse over it, even though Phil saved him from Zone 5.1.
- Once he had gained full control over Vizion, he planned on using the Doomsday Device to obliterate every civilization in sight, starting with Earth.
- While Viz only tried to destroy planets he determined evil, Diz tried to destroy every planet he sees out of pure sadism.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- Diz originates from the Riddle School series, which is known for its generally light undertone with it never taking itself super seriously, and even if Diz himself is taken as a serious threat, the games at no point step over the boundary into a truly serious plot.
Trivia[]
- Diz is one of four villains created by Jonochrome to be Near Pure Evil, the others being Viz, Flumpty Bumpty, and the One Week at Flumpty's version of Golden Flumpty.
- According to Jonochrome, Diz is in fact worse than Viz, as Diz lacks any moral compass, while Viz did have one, however warped it was.
- This makes Diz the most evil character in the Riddle School series and arguably the most evil character Jonochrome has ever created, as Flumpty at least has shown to have standards and Golden Flumpty being a manifestation of Flumpty's evil leads to moral agency issues, Diz however has shown an understanding between right and wrong and yet chooses to be evil.
- Although he is Near Pure Evil now, Diz was supposed to be the complete opposite, as the original plans for the Riddle Transfer series had Diz not only help Phil save Earth with no intention to backstab him and freeze the Earth himself, but he would also redeem himself for leaving Phil and his friends in Zone 5.1 by rescuing Phil from falling into an active volcano.
