Diego Gomez is one of the two secondary antagonists (other being María Gómez) of the CGI film Resident Evil: Vendetta. He is a bodyguard and bio terrorist who works for Glenn Arias, whom seeks vengeance by unleashing the trigger virus on New York city.

He was voiced by Fred Tatasciore, who also voiced Gatō in the English dub of Naruto, The Mawgu in Nicktoons: Battle for Volcano Island, Warden Kuril in Mass Effect 2, CLU 2 in TRON: Uprising, the Red Hulk in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, an armored Lord Dominator in Wander Over Yonder, Carnage in Ultimate Spider-Man, Shao Kahn in the Mortal Kombat Legends films and Dr. Ludvig Maxis in Call of Duty: Zombies.

His Evil Ranking[]

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]

  • After he survived being bombed in Glenn Arias's wedding with his daughter María, he and María swore revenge on humanity. while he had extreme enhancements to the mute muscular monstrosity he is today.
  • Helped Glenn Arias spread the Dormant Animality virus into bottled water across the world so that when the trigger virus is released people turn into zombies.
  • Helped Arias on many A-Virus terrorist attacks.
  • While Maria kidnaps Rebecca Chambers for Arias at a bar, Diego used a minigun and opened fire at the bar killing several people there.
  • Upon seeing a dying Glenn Arias on the ground from falling 100 feet, Diego saves him by mutating his body and combining himself with Arias's body making themselves a tyrant.
  • Helps Arias try to kill Leon, Chris & Rebecca, until he is shot in the head with a railgun by a woman with terrible aim which kills his half of the body.
  • Although Resident Evil has a high heinous Standard, he like his daughter Maria, stands out because he is helping Arias commit omnicide by spreading the dormant A-virus through bottled water. so when the trigger virus is released people turn into zombies.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]

  • He has a tragic backstory of being bombed in Arias's Wedding which he survived but deformed & needed physical enhancements & the A-virus to survive which is why he looks the way he is right now.
  • He has two people he cares about
    1. His Daughter, María Gómez: He still cares for his daughter, in a heartwarming moment where Diego holds her hand.
    2. Glenn Arias, who he has a genuine friendship and loyalty to even before and after the wedding. when Arias miraculously survived a 100 ft drop Diego fused with Arias to keep him alive turning them both into a giant monstrosity with Arias in control.
  • His worst acts are under Arias's orders, so he fails the Heinous Standard to him.
