General Diego Almagro is the overarching antagonist of the 2013 video game Call of Duty: Ghosts.
He was the original leader of the Federation during its foundation twelve years prior to the main events of the game.
His Evil Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Founded the Federation in order to conquer all of America, making him responsible for everything that happened within the game.
- Ordered the executions and imprisonment of all american citizens present in Federation territory.
- When the US sent 20 peacemakers to stop him, he had them executed, mutilated, and their bodies dumped into the river.
- Launched a missile into a city in Carracas, flooding it and killing all of its population, including thousands of innocent people.
- When the Ghosts attacked him, he tried to fight back only to get killed by Elias and Rorke.
- While his assassination was a success, it didn't stop the Federation from growing, and thus it makes him indirectly responsible for Rorke's capture, brainwashing, and eventual fall into villainy.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He lacks a bit of characterization and personality, since he never speaks any line of dialogue. However, he's not a generic doomsday villain since he's a clear hegemonic and xenophobic person with the intentions of conquering the entire continent.
