Demiurge is one of the main protagonists of the light novel series Overlord. He is a demon that serves as the Floor Guardian of the 7th Floor of Nazarick, Commander of the Nazarick defenses, and second-in-command of the Guardians.
Among the humans, he goes by the alias Jaldabaoth, the Demon Emperor that leads an army of demons against humanity.
He was voiced by Masayuki Kato in the Japanese version of the anime, and Jeff Johnson in the English dubbed version of the anime.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- He is responsible for many evil plans and sadistic experiments such as the Holy Kingdom Crisis. and healing experiences.
- He despises humans and creatures outside of Nazarick and treats them as toys.
- Although he treats the people of Nazarick kindly, he is willing to kill them if ordered.
- Although he respects Princess Rainier for her extreme evil and agrees to protect her knight, Climb, he's ready to kill them if necessary.
- He explains to Albedo about the human experiments being conducted on the Sunlight Scripture, mocking the human captives of betraying their own master.
- He skins living creatures, including humans, for magical scrolls and uses healing magic to restore the skin, leaving the victims in constant agony and pain.
- In order to provide food for his victims, he cuts off the limbs of many of them, forces them to eat them, and then uses healing magic to repeat the process.
- He forces families to watch their children being eaten by another family, enjoying their mutual hatred/
- He allows his colleagues to torture the victims.
- He had already captured an adequate quantity of prisoners to ensure that Nazarick will be guaranteed a stable supply of skins for making low-tier spell scrolls.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He still has a few comedic moments Like how could he explain that everything Ainz is doing is a genius plan.
- He has tremendous love and loyalty for Ainz though it's ambiguous whether if it's just fanaticism or genuine loyalty since he's willing to go behind his back, which makes him minor prevention.
