Delphini is the main antagonist of the Harry Potter sequel play The Cursed Child. She is the daughter of Lord Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange, determined to bring her father back to life with the use of a time turner.
She is portrayed by Esther Smith.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Her plan was ultimately to cause Voldemort's return by reversing his death with a time turner after hearing a prophecy that foretold it, an act that would cause untold death and destruction in the wizarding world.
- She brainwashed Amos Diggory into attempting to guilt Harry into using a time turner to bring Cedric Diggory back to life, acting as his niece.
- She convinced Albus and Scorpius to help her break into the Ministry of Magic and steal a time turner, pretending to care about saving Cedric's life.
- After having Cedric lose the first Triwizard Tournament task failed to change thing significantly, she instead had Albus and Scorpius humiliate him in front of everyone. This turned Cedric bitter and spiteful, leading to him becoming a Death Eater and killing Neville Longbottom. Without Neville alive to kill Nagini, Voldemort wins and kills Harry Potter, causing untold misery, as we see from Scorpius's point of view.
- The timeline of Voldemort winning led to the remaining DA members getting rounded up and likely subjected to the Dementor's Kiss, with only Ron, Hermione, and Snape left; Hogwarts became a haven for Dark Magic, where Slytherin is the only house, and Muggle-borns are tortured in the dungeons and muggles being harassed by Death Eaters regularly.
- After Scorpius reverses the dark timeline he and Albus created, she reveals her true colors by killing student Craig Bower Junior. She goes on to try forcing Albus to have Cedric fail the last task to restore the dark timeline, torturing Scorpius to force Albus to comply.
- After her attempt to fulfill the prophecy fails, she tries going back to the day of Lilly and James Potter's deaths to warn Voldemort not to kill Lilly and cause his own downfall. She is only stopped by Harry disguising himself as Voldemort and leading her into a trap.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She is tragic due to being raised by Euphemia Rowle, a Death Eater who never liked her and took her in solely for financial purposes. This gave her a miserable childhood where she was isolated from her wizarding peers, causing her to become so lonely that she would attempt to use magic to create a best friend for herself. Euphiemia was also emotionally abusive and would sadistically tell her that her pet Augurey's crying was foretelling Delphini's eventual death, something that partially motivated her villainy as she was determined to control her own destiny from then on.
- She genuinely loved her father, Voldemort, and almost all of her crimes were done in an attempt to bring him back to life. In her defeat when she realizes she wouldn't be able to see him, she bursts into tears and begs Harry to either kill her or wipe her memory.
