Death Row Dave (sometimes known as David or Dave) is one of the main antagonists (alongside Erytrhos) of the 2017 Scratch comedy web-series NostalgiaSquare. He serves as an unseen character in the first seven seasons, the first main antagonist of Season 8, and a posthumous antagonist as of House Of NS. He is a former game show host who always wants to harm people in sadistic ways.
His voice is provided by a text-to-speech voice, Steven.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- Alongside Erythros, he is responsible for taking souls away from the civilians of Scratch Town, during the opening scene of his first appearance, he trapped NostalgiaSquareBross in an empty room during his game show just to let him get his soul taken away by Erytrhos, which caused NostalgiaSquareBross to pass out and die.
- After his game show got rigged, Death Row Dave tricks Scratch Cat into drinking poison that was in a soda can, which caused Scratch Cat to be unconscious.
- During NostalgiaSquare's funeral, he shows no empathy for NostalgiaSquare dying. He then crashes the party alongside a possessed Fallen Star and then insults NostalgiaSquare by calling him a brat and then tries to turn everyone into shadows and tries to destroy Scratch Town and wipe out its existence.
- He caused NostalgiaSquare to commit suicide by making a commercial saying it's okay to end your life. NostalgiaSquare saw the commercial and immediately jumped off a cliff and died after that.
- During the final battle, he uses Fallen Star to try to destroy NostalgiaSquare, Green Square, Scratch Cat, Molly, Red Circle, Quadwheel and Starboy (with Scratch Cat and Red Circle actually getting killed in the process).
- Unlike his sidekick Erythros, Death Row Dave doesn't have any redeeming qualities whatsoever, and even though he did start off as friendly and affable to his contestants, it's nothing more than a facade to hide his true colors.
- Despite the enormous heinous standards of the NostalgiaSquare franchise (especially with the likes of Erythros, Fallen Star and even NostalgiaSquare himself), he still stands out for stealing the souls of Scratch Town, as well as putting Scratch Town almost through death.
What Prevents Him from Being Pure Evil?[]
- He does have a few comedic moments that detract from his villainy (moreso than his sidekick Erythros), such as being blinded by Lightlow, noticing NostalgiaSquare took away his money, screaming that he's in danger after the angry mob yells at him, and screaming "NO!" multiple times before the angry mob killed him.
Trivia[]
- He and Erythros are the only characters in the NostalgiaSquare franchise to be Near Pure Evil, and coincidentally enough, they are also best friends.
- His Meet The Scratch Cat counterpart cannot count as Near Pure Evil due to the fact that short is non-canon. In addition to that, he is also shown to be a background character in said short.
