Darth Zannah is a major antagonist in the Star Wars Legends franchise. She was an orphan and aspiring Jedi abandoned by the Order and after a Jedi murdered her pet/friend, she fell to the Dark Side of the Force and joined Darth Bane in his new Sith Order, becoming a sadistic torturer and manipulator.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Evil?[]
- At the age of 10, she murders Jedi Knight Petja and his friend for accidentally killing her pet/friend Laa. She has no remorse for this action whatsoever.
- Blows up her cousin Darovit’s lightsaber and hand.
- Murders her rescuer Bordon and his son Tallo
- Murders pilot Irtanna and Bordon’s younger son Wend despite the latter begging for his life and the former simply wanting her to be taken care of since Zannah was a child
- After officially becoming Darth Bane’s apprentice and becoming an adult, she infiltrates an anti-Republic terrorist group ARLF to become the “lover” of one of its leaders so she can manipulate him into making a failed abduction of the Supreme Chancellor that leads to his and three other ARLF members deaths. She did this not to help the Republic but because a united Republic is easier to conquer than a divided galaxy.
- Even though she didn’t care for her ARLF “boyfriend” and was only using him to eventually be killed, when she found out he slept with another woman, she put that woman in a permanent coma and destroyed most of her mind, with her remaining mind being tortured forever just out of sadism
- Once captured by two other ARLF members, she tortured one to insanity, making her gouge her own eyes out and babble incoherently and murdered the other via headshot.
- Manipulates ARLF leader Hetton by lying to him that he could be her Sith apprentice so that he could tell her of the wealth of Sith artifacts he had collected and so that he could tell her where to go ancient Sith lord’s Belia Darius castle for her holocrons. Once she got all his information, she then led Hetton and his 8 assassins to their deaths by Darth Bane, standing by and watching as Darth Bane killed them all.
- Infiltrates the Jedi Temple under a stolen identity to research Darth Bane’s orbalisks and once she accidentally exposes herself to her cousin Darovit, she kidnaps him and leaves the temple, choking him when he tries to redeem her and stating the only reason she is keeping him alive since Darth Bane needed his healing powers.
- Once 5 Jedi discovered her and Bane, she tortures one with a vision of his greatest fears and then kills him before swiftly killing another Jedi. She then murders an already wounded and unarmed Jedi.
- Painfully tortures the healer Caleb to try and get him to heal Darth Bane by squeezing his organs.
- The only reason she wants Bane healed as she repeatedly states is because he hadn’t taught her all of his secrets and powers. Once he did, she would (and did) strike him down.
- Once Caleb healed Darth Bane, she murdered him by cutting him limb from limb and tortured Darovit into insanity, framing him as the Sith Lord and hiding so the Jedi would kill him instead
- She forces Dark Jedi Set Harth to become her apprentice by threatening to kill him if he refused
- Interrogates collector Argel Tenn on Darth Bane’s interest on his artifacts and murders him once he gave her all the information she wanted.
- Murders the woman Darth Bane was talking to by smashing her head against the stone floor repeatedly just because she could
- Tries to torture Darth Bane into insanity.
- Kills Darth Bane by cutting off his arm, destroying his body, and his spirit for good
- Unlike Bane who is pragmatic and genuinely believes in his ideology, Darth Zannah is a sadistic torturer who enjoys making people suffer.
What Prevents Her from Being Pure Evil?[]
- She had a tragic past as she wanted to be a Jedi but the Jedi abandoned her and killed her pet which caused her to join Darth Bane to learn about the force. However considering what she has done, it is a minor tragedy at this point.
- She genuinely cared about her pet Laa which was her only friend and was enraged when the Jedi killed her which caused her to fall to the dark side to kill the Jedi who killed her pet.
- She ultimately fails the standards and low resources don't do anything to help that. Other than killing a few as a child, her actions consist of mind-crushing one person into a catatonia, carving apart a healer and mind-crushing her cousin into insanity. All of which aren't much as far as Sith go, doesn't help that she's as powerful as Bane by the end.
